Weight Loss Journey: Week Two
Week two was a little tougher. I’m sorry Coach Kozak, I did skip a day but then I made up for it so we are technically a day behind. Had some drama this week so that didn’t help.
On the bright side, I did still lose weight! 3 lbs. Which may not sound like a lot to some people but it’s been hard. Raising a one year old, working full time, trying to eat healthy and prep healthy meals does take longer than grabbing take out or quick microwavable food.
This week I am taking a spin on my meal prep. Instead of my ‘traditional’ rice and chicken I am going to do quiche loaded with veggies. Mostly as a money saver, but also I’m getting a little sick of chicken. We also are loading up on our quinoa intake this week, trying new things.
Pretty excited to keep going! And always, thank you so much to Coach Kozak from HasFit I don’t know what I would do without your motivation.

Weight Loss Journey: Week One
This is more for me than for anyone else. I think that motivating myself to write a blog once a week about my weight loss journey will help. A year ago I gave birth to a beautiful daughter. While my pregnancy was fine the labor itself was very rough and ruined most of my self confidence. My post pregnancy weight was 260lbs. The highest I had been in forever.
Now to the opposite, the lowest I had ever been was 240lbs. I have been consistently around that weight for years. I also started a new job just recently which is much more physical than my last job. That alone was helping me to lose weight but it wasn’t enough. So my fiance and I decided to start a healthy eating plan and work out. Currently we are in the middle of week two. With the help of HasFit.com and some awesome YouTube channels about meal prep I have gotten myself down to 227lbs. 2freaking27 pounds. I literally can not remember the last time I was ever that small. I realize that I still have a long way to go, but seeing those numbers on the scale really gave me motivation.
Skip to today. Sunday, meal prep day, which is what most of this blog will be about. Last week we did a very simple basmati rice. We split the meals into two, half getting broccoli, half getting carrots. Then I cooked up some chicken, half with a garlic, honey soy sauce and the other half was pesto. *Note- pesto ended up pretty greasy. This week we stepped up the rice a little! Basmati rice again (Cause apparently I did forget to buy brown rice) with parsley and lemon. Same veggies but this week the chicken was sweet chili teriyaki and italian. Pretty excited! Onto our 30 minute exercise with Coach Kozak next. Hope to keep this blog up!

Which is better in your opinion? singing low parts, middle parts, or high parts?
Low parts. It’s the easiest for me to do, and gets the best positive feedback from listeners and the like.BUT HOW WILL I BECOME THE JUSTIN BEEBS SINGING DEEP OLD MAN RIVER MELODIES ALL THE TIME?! XD
