this was not how cleo would’ve preferred to spend her night. she glanced around at the dimly lit dive bar. basically a relic in this city. of course she sat at the actual bar because if she was gonna be here rather than her favorite way-too overpriced, way-too exclusive, club than she was going to be sitting front and center. well, she’d rather be here than at home with the cats but even nursing her drink and watching the people behind her play pool she felt an itch for something more. after-all it wasn’t a night out if no one was there to photograph it or if she ended the night without a massive bruise on her leg from falling on the concrete or up the stairs. 

however, this? was meeting in the middle. and cleo couldn’t afford to make everything all about her and what she wanted all the time or she’d lose a friend like josephine and be left once again to troll this city looking for her latest bff. none of which seemed to stick after well--- after. and josephine was lovely, just different than cleo. opposites attract right? and opposites keep her from making a fool of herself at the previously mentioned way-too exclusive club. she threw back the rest of her drink and bobbed her head a little, looking through the haze that had fallen for a head of blonde hair. she knew she’d be fine and would stop thinking of a million other situations to be in once she wasn’t alone anymore. an unfortunate quirk. 

cleo let her legs swing back and forth on the barstool and stared down at her empty glass, she could feel a pout pushing at her red lips. something alerted her toward the direction she’d come in and-- “josephine!” she sat up straight, feeling all of her anxieties wash away because now she was fine, she was with a friend.

victoria justice. cisfemale. she/her.  ／  cleo carlisle just pulled up blasting girls just wanna have fun by the chromatics— that song is so them! you know, for a twenty-two year old model/former musician, i’ve heard they’re really careless, but that they make up for it by being so vibrant. if i had to choose three things to describe them, i’d probably say expensive coffee, bruised legs, oversized leather jackets. here’s to hoping they don’t cause too much trouble! (rach, 20, EST, she/her). 

Hi! I’m Rach and I haven’t been super active in the rpc for a while but I’m really excited to play Cleo. I’ve been working on her for a bit and she’s based off an old muse. She’s just your classic, cliche, hot mess and I love it! Please love her too.

here’s a bit (a lot) about her past

so cleo grew up pretty well off, her mom was an interior designer but her dad was an investment banker type and they divorced when she was young. she has some resentment issues from being emotionally neglected by him, and from her mom refusing to talk about it. 

in her teen years she was very independent from her parents and family. she was very sure of herself and confident. but being an only child she became very dependent on her friends.

she could be very careless and selfish and her world was just a little bubble and she only cared about herself and the group of people closest to her

a “head in the clouds” type, cleo loved music and she used it as a form of escapism because she found her life monotonous. she kind of romanticized the whole punk rock/grunge band lifestyle and she possessed some natural talent so she joined JACKPOT! as the drummer with her friends. not because she was particularly passionate about making music but because she wanted to do something fun with her friends

as the band floated to the top cleo loved the attention, the wild parties, the touring. she developed a reputation for hooking up with guys from other bands. but fans of JACKPOT!, the media, and other bands didn’t really take to the drama-filled persona she had. 

(TW drugs/overdose) she kinda crashed back down to earth when their lead singer and one of her best friends passed away from an overdose. it left her with a lot of shame and guilt from not preventing it (even though she couldn’t have)

being so young and feeling like her career in music was over cleo didn’t bother joining another band and she got scouted through instagram for a modeling contract which is what she does now. she cut off contact completely with anyone who had to do with the band, wanting to forget. 

despite her best efforts she still has remnants of the same old behaviors but she’s more self-aware and wants to be a better version of herself she is just figuring out how.

she has a good voice but has never pursued singing besides posting a few covers, afraid of getting back into the music industry in any capacity and she won’t drum for anyone besides her cats and unlucky neighbors late at night.

she likes modeling and works tirelessly at it but it’s stressful and at times toxic and she is still dabbling in a bunch of creative outlets. she feels lost, lacking a true sense of self she used to always possess but she refuses to start playing in bands again. 

still figuring out some of her details and little personality quirks which will likely be featured on an about page when it’s set up. please hit me up to plot! i’m down for so many things with her.
