Sims 3 Not So Berry Challenge

I decided to combine parts of Sarahpurple12’s and LilSimsie’s for my challenge.

Not So Berry Legacy Challenge Do you like the rainbow? Do you like the idea of playing with berry Sims but hate berry Sims? Do you even know what berry Sims are? Do you want to mess around with aspects of the game you’ve never used before? Boy, do I have the challenge for you! Welcome to the Not So Berry Legacy Challenge, a ten generation legacy with a focus on bright colors and new experiences, but Sims 3 style.

Rules:

Each heir must represent the color of their generation.

The colors of each spouse doesn’t matter, as long as there are no specifications.

Money cheats can be used, but not excessively,

You may live wherever you wish, as long as there are no specifications.

The lifespan must be on normal for the duration of the challenge.

Generation One: Mint

You’re a crazy inventor that really loves the color mint. You’re career driven but still make time for silly antics and outings with your closest friends. You love luxury and want the best for yourself and your family.

Traits: Vegetarian, Hot-Headed, Daredevil, Insane, Inappropriate

Lifetime Wish: Become a Creature-Robot Cross Breeder

Favorites: Seafoam/Lime green, Key Lime Pie, Kids Music

Career: Science

Goals:

-Reach level 10 of the Science Career

-Complete LTW

-Master Logic and Charisma skills

-Complete Gem collection

-*[If you have Seasons] Get abducted by aliens

Generation Two: Rose

You had everything you desired as a child but you were always longing for more. As an adult you have a hard time committing to relationships as you’re so focused on you career but still daydreaming of meeting “The One”. You have absolutely no maternal/paternal instincts whatsoever but you still love you child with all you heart.

Traits: Neurotic, Snob, Flirty, Hopeless Romantic, Workaholic

Lifetime Wish: Heartbreaker

Favorites: Red/Pink, Lobster Thermidor, Pop music

Career: Political

Goals:

-Reach level 10 of the Political Career

-Complete LTW

- Master Charisma skill

- Have only 1 child

-Throw a wedding party but leave bride/groom @the alter

-Get married as an elder

Generation Three: Yellow

Growing up you never had a close relationship with your mother and spent the majority of your time alone in your room obsessing over space. You just really love space. You’ll do whatever it takes to get to space no matter the cost.

Traits: Clumsy, Ambitious, Loner, Eccentric, Socially Awkward

Lifetime Wish: Become an Astronaut

Favorites: Yellow, Mac N cheese, Soul music

Career: Military

Goals:

-Reach level 10 Military career

-Complete LTW

- Master Logic and Handiness skills

- Never have any close friends or relationships other than grandparents from Gen One

Until the grandparents die

Generation Four: Grey

You always felt that you were different. While the rest of your family was busy messing around in the lab, you just wanted to be outside playing basketball. You’re very good at sports and you dream of becoming a professional athlete. To make up for your nonexistent relationship with your parents you want to be there for your own children as much as possible. Oh, and you love playing the piano.

Traits: Athletic, Slob, Virtuoso, Commitment Issues, Family-Oriented

Lifetime Wish: Become a Superstar Athlete

Favorites: Grey, Tofu, Classical music

Career: Professional Sports

Goals:

- Reach level 10 Athletic career

- Complete LTW

- Master piano skill

-Have 3 failed relationships before finding spouse, marry a Neat sim

- Be good friends with all your children

- Have family outings with spouse and children every Sunday

-* Additional story-line and rules for University Life Just before you are to become a true Sports Legend and well-known in every home you suffer a serious injury which ends your career abruptly. But without sports in your life it’s like you have no identity, so you are determined to find your way back.

Generation Five: Plum

You’ve always been good at anything you tried. It’s hard to choose a career, so why not try a few? You work as a doctor for much of your life, but as an adult realize that your true dream is to become a professional Actor. So you quit your job to join the rich and famous. Basically: you’re an indecisive oddball.

Traits: Genius, Commitment Issues, Workaholic, Excitable, Star Quality

Lifetime Wish: Renaissance Sim

Favorites: Spiceberry/Purple, Tri-tip steak, Dark Wave

Career: Culinary, Medical, Film

Goals:

- Complete LTW

- Get a job at the Spa as a teen and reach level 3

- Join Culinary career and quit when you reach level 5

- Work in the Medical career until you can donate your sim’s heart

- Get divorced, then remarry the same sim

- Must live in at least 2 different worlds over the course of the sim’s life

Generation Six: Orange

You’re the black sheep of your family (but with orange hair) and you were raised in a hectic household. You’ve always wanted to cause mayhem, but you’re just really bad at being evil. You enjoy breaking into your neighbor’s houses and eating their food. You really love cooking and spend the majority of your spare time eating everything you can get your hands on.

Traits: Evil, Natural cook, Frugal, Grumpy, Snob

Lifetime Wish: Emperor of Evil

Favorites: Orange, Pumpkin Pie, Latin music

Career: Criminal

Goals:

- Complete LTW

- Master Cooking skill

- Must live in a small apartment for entire young adult life

- Buy the fertility Treatment Reward

- Have twins, but only those two children (you can cheat this)

- Insist on being evil (claim to be criminal mastermind)

Generation Seven: Pink

You grew up poor and are living pay check to pay check working in the business career just as your parents did. You ling to write romance novels but are too afraid to quit your steady jib to follow your dreams. You’re very practical and you know the chances of making it as a writer are slim, so you stay working at your nine to five. As an adult you finally decide to pursue your dreams. You’re a hopeless romantic, but your unflirty nature makes it nearly impossible to find love.

Traits: Neat, Unflirty, Artistic, Bookworm, Green-thumb

Lifetime Wish: Professional Author

Favorites: Pink, Fruit parfait, Country

Career: Business

Goals:

- Reach at least level 8 of business career

- Master Writing career

- Have a perfect garden

- Quit job to complete LTW

- Complete Butterfly Collection

Generation Eight: Peach

Your mother always taught you to follow your dreams. You’ve always wanted to be a Fire-fighter. You always wanted to do sculpting. Well dang it, you can do both! Fire-fighter by day, sculptor by night, you can do anything you set your mind to.

Traits: Couch-potato, Heavy-sleeper, Mooch, Brave, Good Sense of Humor

Lifetime Wish: Fire-fighter Super Hero

Favorites: Orange/Pink, Grilled Salmon, Hip-Hop

Career: Firefighter

Goals:

- Complete LTW

- Marry a Co-worker

- Master Sculpting skill

- Live in a different world to the world in which sim was raised in

Generation Nine: Green

You were caught hacking by a major tech company that then offered you a position in their firm. You know Penelope Garcia from Criminal Minds? That’s you. You’re dedicated to your work, but that doesn’t stop you from going out and having a good time. You’re the kind of person that will be at a party at 3am and then at work at 6am.

Traits: Party-Animal, Computer Whiz, Childish, Ambitious

Lifetime Wish: Master Mixologist

Favorites: Green, Ratatouille, Geek Rock music

Career: Video Game Developer

Goals:

- Complete LTW

- Earn all your money through hacking until you join the Video Game Developer career

- Join and max Nerd Social Group

- Master mixology skill

- Reach level 10 of Video Game Developer career

- Must accept EVERY invitation to parties/outings with your friends/family

- Have at least 5 good friends and 5 enemies

Generation Ten: Blue

You have the perfect life. White picket fence, loving spouse, beautiful children. But why do you still want more? You have a onetime secret affair and will regret it for the rest of your life. Afterwards your pour your soul into raising your children and fixing your marriage. You never admit the affair to anyone and dedicate your life to being the perfect mother.

Traits: Grumpy, perfectionist, family-oriented, nurturing, dramatic

Lifetime Wish: Surrounded by family

Favorites: Blue, Fish N Chips, Roots

Career: Education

Goals:

- Complete LTW

- Reach level 10 of Education career

- Adopt at least 1 child

- Learn all cooking recipes

- Marry highschool sweetheart and stayed married to them until they die

- Have onetime secret affair

- Complete photography collections

Sims 3 Caste Challenge

Understanding the Sims 3 Caste Challenge

First of all let’s give credit to the creator of this challenge.

Caste Challenge 2.0~original by Demonspawn666

Simcrafter says: “Back in July I saw a challenge called the "Caste Challenge" by Demonspawn666, his was a little bit confusing so I asked him if I could remake this challenge just make it easier to understand. Demonspawn666 said I could if I like the original challenge (http://modthesims.info/t/575183) but without further ado here is the Caste Challenge 2.0”

Backstory: You grew up in the town of [insert town name here] and always loved it... until your parents died in a house fire and you were sent to an orphanage. The orphanage treated you HORRIBLY, especially after a new dictator came in to charge setting up a Caste.

Goal: So, basically this is what is going on: You have to start the challenge in Caste 9. Then you try to marry up to caste 1. Looks easy right?

The Rules: (as I understand them): All castes are allowed to marry and date if the two people who want to marry or have a romantic relationship are less than two Castes apart, there are no questions asked, flirt away! If there are more than two levels between the two, you must roll a six sided die. {So if you are in Caste 9 and you meet a sim you want to marry, if the sim is Caste 7 or caste 8 , you can pursue them romantically.}

If you are Caste 9 and you meet a sim you want to marry and they are a Caste 3 then you have to roll the die to see if you can pursue them romantically.

So let’s say you meet a sim you want to marry and you are Caste 8 and the other sim is caste 5. Find a six-sided die, and roll.

If you really want make the challenge more interesting: Play the die on [HARD] – rolling a 1-4 means you cannot be romantically involved with said sim. And if you are not a Caste 9 you will be after you roll a 1-4 because you are busted back down to Caste 9 and have to start over. Or you could play the die on [Medium] – rolling a 1-3 means you cannot be romantically involved with said sim, and if not already in Caste 9 you have to go back and start over in Caste 9. [EASY] – rolling a 1-2 means you cannot be romantically involved with the sim. If you are Caste 5 and said sim is Caste 3 they can see each other if they roll a 5. If you roll a 2 then you cannot be romantically involved with said sim and you have to go all the way back to Caste 9 and start over.

Caste Restrictions: Ok so, I noticed that not all the jobs/professions were listed so I tried to include everything.

1. Business, Politicians, (children of the super-rich???) I guess just rich people.

v Can go anywhere they want and own anything they want.

2. Performance Artists (magicians, acrobats, singers), Actors/Actress

v Can go anywhere, but can’t have pools???

3. Police, Firefighter, Doctor

v Can go anywhere they want, but can’t own pools, hot tubs, or items over $6000 simoleons.

4. Journalist, Private Investigator

v Can go anywhere but public pools. Can’t own pools, or hot tubs, and can’t use birth control (meaning you can only “try for baby” NO Woohoo). Can’t buy items over $6000 in value or electronics other than computers, stereos, video game consoles, and T.V.s.

5. Scientists, Inventors, Alchemists, Military, Astronomy, Working the Bot Arena

v Can go anywhere except public pools and Clubs. Can’t own pools, or hot tubs, and can’t use birth control (meaning you can only “try for baby” NO Woohoo). Can’t buy items over $6000 in value or electronics other than computers, stereos, video game consoles, and T.V.s.

6. Artists, Musicians, Architects

v Can go anywhere except public pools, libraries, and clubs (unless the band has a gig at a club). Can’t own pools, or hot tubs, and can’t use birth control (meaning you can only “try for baby” NO Woohoo). Can’t buy items over $6000 in value or electronics other than computers, stereos, video game consoles, and T.V.s. Can’t own anything that helps with the logic skill or inventor stuff.

7. Babysitter, Cook, Teacher, Ghost Hunter, Stylist

v Can go anywhere except public pools, libraries, clubs, and art galleries. Can’t own pools, or hot tubs, and can’t use birth control (meaning you can only “try for baby” NO Woohoo). Can’t buy items over $6000 in value or electronics other than computers, stereos, video game consoles, and T.V.s. Can’t own anything that helps with the logic skill, inventor stuff, or art supplies.

8. Athletes, Fortune Teller

v Can go anywhere except public pools, libraries, clubs, and art galleries. Can go to the grocery and book store once a week. Can’t own pools, or hot tubs, and can’t use birth control (meaning you can only “try for baby” NO Woohoo). Can’t buy items over $6000 in value or electronics other than computers, stereos, video game consoles, and T.V.s. Can’t own anything that helps with the logic skill, inventor stuff, art supplies or toys.

9. Unemployed, Criminals, Part-time jobs
