Both the Matariki star cluster and Puanga will be visible low on the eastern horizon just before the rising of the sun

People who cannot find bugs, worms, or any other unconventional animals "cute" or understand how they can be considered cute are simply too weak and will not survive the winter.
#pro tip for getting to find bugs and such cute: start with ones that other people find cute#jumping spiders - look into how intelligent and affectionate they are. they have massive eyes and are very cute fluffy#my personal favourite are centipedes - their faces are adorable but also their behaviours#look into the behavioural quirks of these species and there are some adorable things out there#and if you still find yourself scared#thats definitely ok!! at least you have tried and are currently treating the animals with respect#just keep going for it in the future#and not to be an annoying leftist about it but like. people who make snap judgements on bugs and kill them because of their looks or fear of#stereotypes are indicative of societys larger problem with respecting life. human life is not uniquely special and you do not get to make#a decision on whether an animal lives or dies because YOU find it unappealing. or useless or whatever#i wholeheartedly believe that people who peddle that pandas are useless or seahorses are stupid are a slippery slope away from applying the#same logic to disabled people#and if your reaction to something you find unappealing and is smaller and weaker and afraid of you is to kill it?#genuinely fuck you. fuck you so much#i drew blood over saving bugs in primary school if you think that im crazy for that reevaluate your humancrnt#humancentric nature#cant edit that im on phone lol
