My parents kitchen - Verteillac
This kitchen is my favorite. There is so much space to cook and to prep, and every detail has been thought to be useful and beautiful at the same time : the little wooden window to hide the drying dishes, the round knobs on the cupboards, the countertops made of stone (you can put hot pans and pots ON it !!!!) and the long table in the middle...
And it's especially beautiful when the sun is hitting the windows, just after lunch.

26 de agosto - Día de salida / Parte 2
©Climène
I’ve never hated leaving day on vacations. There is always a weird feeling though, especially when you stay in a house for a while. A feeling of anticipated melancholia, maybe a bit of sadness even, already looking back at the memories you’ve created while still being there.
I always try not to be in a rush while packing my stuff, so I can pause, contemplate and exist in the moment, enjoying the last few hours.
That’s what I was trying to document here. A series of pictures that are images I know I will remember my stay by : our room and its white walls, the view, the soft light of a cloudy day.

20 de agosto - Ritual

As long as I can remember, meals have always been really important to me while travelling. I mostly remember my stays abroad through what I eat. It’s always what triggers all the other memories.
For this part of the holidays, meals have less been a cultural discovery - as I’ve been a lot of times to Spain, I have a pretty good understanding of its food culture - than taking time to enjoy a moment to myself every morning, sitting in silence while everybody else is still asleep.
