Do you think he had a fucking choice?

Do you actually, completely believe that 11-year-old Bertolt woke up one day and said “hmm I really feel like tearing down a wall today”? Do you not understand he was forced to do all those things, along with Reiner and Annie? We’re talking about child soldiers here. Bertolt, Annie, Reiner... they’re all victims, too. Marco, my beautiful son, is also a victim. They’re caught up in a fucked up situation. I can’t believe people are treating Bertolt as if he wanted to kill half of the world’s population.
