STARS
This is a handmade paper product~!You can't see the stars before turning on the light, but you can see them after turning on the light because I cut some star patterns inside the interlayer~!

Silmarillion sketches, once again, ha 💎💎💎
"Then Morgoth hurled aloft Grond, the Hammer of the Underworld, and swung it down like a bolt of thunder. But Fingolfin sprang aside, and Grond rent a mighty pit in the earth, whence smoke and fire darted."
"But Fëanor followed him, and at the door of the king’s house he stayed him; and the point of his bright sword he set against Fingolfin’s breast. ‘See, half-brother!’ he said. ‘This is sharper than thy tongue."
"...for though at great feasts Fëanor would wear them, blazing on his brow, at other times they were guarded close, locked in the deep chambers of his hoard in Tirion. For Fëanor began to love the Silmarils with a greedy love, and grudged the sight of them to all save to his father and his seven sons..."

if you're still taking requests, id love to see your take on Eonwe 😳(maybe with Mairon/Sauron too hehe)
regardless, also just wanted to say that i absolutely ADORE your art and the way you draw Sauron is just 😩😩absolute perfection
Mairon and Eonwe probably going out to annoy Olorin or check out Arien.
So that's my first attempt at a design for Eonwe, I like the direction but would probaby need a few more attempts to say I found it.

One of the prizes for the giveaway I recently hosted! The sweet @goldncuffs asked for Damen carrying Laurent on his back and I thought that was the perfect excuse for soft neck kisses…<3

It is so strange that there is no religion in the Captive Prince universe. The cultures, traditions, political systems, and gender politics of various countries are all there, but none of them seem to have any form of religion—not even a civil one. So it’s very hard to conceive where their moral codes come from. Concepts like honour and patriotism are usually grounded in some kind of belief system.
This absence is especially noticeable in the trial scene. How do their oaths work? Why are their words considered credible? As a historian working on premodern legal history, I have so many questions about their legal proceedings—especially the reliance on mere words, without any oath-taking. I can’t imagine a premodern society functioning without religion.
Did C. S. Pacat ever comment on this?
