4.2 spoilers and thoughts

If you take out all the memories from a person’s soul are they still the same person? Foçalors seems to think she’s Furina, but Furina couldn’t disagree more. Foçalors was happy to give up her memories to live on as Furina, I think she made it very clear that what we saw was only a shell, containing basically only the plan and divinity, she basically reincarnated herself. They undoubtedly share many traits but it seems the difference of divine knowledge and a full life experience and 500 years of masking with basically no life have made them turn into very different people. At least they both agree on two things about themselves, they want to be human, and they believe in protecting humans.

Even though Furina is our beloved can’t-do-anything failgirl, they also went out of their way to tell us she’s an exceptional human for being able to hold out so long. She is basically the base form of the god Foçalors after all, so she no doubt has a lot of potential, and will meet it in her mortal lifespan.

At least, that’s my thoughts, from Furina’s most loyal fan now that the fountain girl seems to have quit her job ehe
