Headcanon the larger the wings, the more expressive they are

Sad/tired/hurt? Droopy wings

Angry? Wings UP like an angry wasp

Scared? Buzzy/trembling and fully extended to make the fairy look bigger wings

And yes i made this entire hc from 1 (one) gif of bloom with her wings being droopy and also that one scene in s3 where valtor trapped flora in darkness and when she collapsed her wings drooped down

bloom is so funny and so frustrating because she has the ability to beat almost anyone in combat. she is so strong and she has literally saved worlds but as soon as she encounters even the tiniest bit of interpersonal conflict she scrambles back home to earth like hell is at her heels

The Trix in season 1-3 really are well written characters, idc what anyone says. They are evil and vicious and ruthless, but they also show fear, doubt and have these sweet moments of just being teenage girls. Joking, bickering, caring for each other, fighting… It’s far more relatable than the Winx’s constant support and love. I just think it’s neat.

Icy and Bloom dating and Icy saying something like: “No, it’s what’s inside you that makes you beautiful.” and Bloom is “Aw, that’s so sweet....wait you’re flirting with the dragon flame again?” and yeah, Icy usually is.

Griffin in season 1 is so funny. “Witches should not have friends, you three, now go cause trouble at Alfea, no go cause more and better trouble at Alfea you idiots anyway you are expelled now for causing trouble at Alfea just go out there and do whatever.”

not gonna lie, I don’t like the idea of Icy a princess. Honestly, there are sooo many royal storylines and bugs my bunny but I get that it’s a show for young girls so princesses are a popular theme and at least I like them for the individual characters and they are consistent about the impact of this role on the lives of these characters. But for Icy, they pulled it out of their hats so it’s not reflected in her behaviour before and I just find it uninspired to bring it it in as a factor of redeeming her/making her a redeemable character.

Thinking about that  time the Winx snuck into the Trix’ room to get Stella’s ring back and found dolls with needles in them and this spiked bat in their cupboard. So yeah, all I’m saying is that if you have any domestic setting for the Trix and there aren’t random torture devices in weird places for the aesthetic you’re not living.
