Hello! I’ve decided I’ll be making headshots like this as characters appear in the comic instead of working my way through every clan cat at once :)

This is Songlily! She joined the clan on moon 53 after her home was washed away in her former territory.

She is a cunning and clever fast runner. She mentored Peakshatter.

That’s all there is about her so far! I look forward to showing yall what comes next for her :)

I had so much fun drawing this and I’m really proud with how it came out! I think I’ll draw some bonus art before hopping into page three.

Do yall have any questions for/ about the characters? :0 I’m working to draw a headshot of eat clan cat that includes their stats. I’m torn between liking that the audience has to learn about them as we go and wanting to infodump about all of them.

Critique is very welcome, on the art or writing. I’m still trying to figure out comic layout and what writing style I want to use.

Bonus art and lore - Flurry

Long time no see! I’m back to making art so hopefully this blog will become more active within the next few weeks. As promised next up on our list of cats is our healers.

Flurry, formerly a kittypet, joined the clan on moon 45 as a healer. She is a strict skilled mediator and incredible runner. Since joining the clan she has taken on two apprentices, Shardroot and Rimepaw.

She’s adopted two litters of kits with her mate Moonclaw. The first litter has four cats, two of which were just made warriors! They are Peakshatter and Robinshade. The other two are called Figpaw and Stagpaw. Flurry’s newest litter is still in the nursery and comprised of Bonekit, Echokit, and Sootkit.

Flurry is closest to her mate Moonclaw and their children. She is also close friends with Sunflare. She is friends with Firepelt as well but there may be more going on than just friendship.

Howdy! Would anyone be up for reviewing my writing for this blog’s Clangen comic?

Bonus art and lore - Snapfern

This is Cloudyclan’s deputy Snapfern! He is one of my favorite cats :)

He became deputy after the last deputy was murdered. (Old design)

He has a full hate bar on Gillstar but also high platonic like? I like to think they care about each other but because Snapfern is insecure they struggle working together. That being said Snapfern has been the deputy for 72 moons and that doesn’t seem to be changing anytime soon.

Snapfern is mates with Lavenderlion and their kits are Rimepaw, Bluepaw, Lyrepaw, and Skykit. Sadly, Skykit was killed by a mouse. She was a daydreamer and confident with words.

This is art I drew of Lavenderlion when she announced she’s expecting kits.

Snapfern is closest to Lavenderlion, Moonclaw, and his kids Rimepaw and Lyrepaw.

I think that’s everything for Snapfern? Next up I’ll be drawing our healers :)

Bonus art and lore - Gillstar

Here’s Cloudyclan’s leader!

I like Gillstar. He had a cute relationship with one of the past medicine cats. Her name was Quiverhawk and they had two kits together, Verbenakit and Ashenmask. Unfortunately, Quiverhawk and Verbenakit are part of Starclan now.

Since then Gillstar has been focused on leading his clan and training apprentices.

He is closest to Snapfern (who hates his guts), Lavenderlion, and Firepelt. In the beginning of the clan Firepelt secretly murdered a clanmate named Darkquiver. No one knew who the killer was until one night when Gillstar saw him in his nest, claw slashing around as he whispered Darkquiver’s name. It confirmed what Gillstar had always suspected- Firepelt was Darkquiver’s murder.

He couldn’t bring himself to exile the young cat and never told anyone what he learned. Instead he vowed Firepelt would never train an apprentice so he could never be deputy.

I think that’s all I have to say on Gillstar. He’s been a very relaxed leader so far. He has five remaining lives.

Year 1 - moon 86 - greenleaf

It’s finally done! The first page of Adventures of Cloudyclan! This moon was messy. I didn’t play through the whole moon before starting to draw so it’s missing an event. I couldn’t fit it onto the first page and it wasn’t big enough to fill a second one so here you go.

Figpaw finds a lost kitten while on patrol with Sunflare and Teaselflip. They bring the kit back to camp and welcome them into the clan.

I like to think that after surviving on her own Morningkit isn’t happy to be put into a role where she can’t leave the camp. It’s just one moon Morningkit. You’ll make it I promise.

I’m looking forward to Morningpaw and hopefully seeing the rest of Robinshade and Peakshatter’s siblings become warriors next moon.

I’ve never made a comic before so I’d really appreciate feedback on this. Where could I improve? Is the text too hard to read? That sort of thing.

Scalestripe bonus art ☁️

Here we have Scalekit and Scalepaw. I drew Scalekit because I got excited about his heterochromia. Then I drew Scalepaw because he had the status “apologizes to his prey before taking a bite.”

He’s a cute little guy. He’s currently a warrior and I’m hoping to see more from him soon.

Apprentices Bonus Art ☁️

Here’s some more bonus art while I work on the first Cloudyclan update.

This is Hawthornheart, Pipitpounce, and Sandydream on their first day of being apprentices.

Pipitpounce became a warrior first at 11 moons old. He was nervous during the ceremony and hopes it’ll be the last ceremony he’s a part of.

The next moon, Sandydream is excitedly made a warrior. While on patrol she is attacked and killed by a dog.

Finally, Hawthornheart is made a warrior the following moon. She wants to celebrate but the loss of her sister hangs heavy in her chest.

Sandydream was my favorite so I was really sad to she her go :( I was looking forward to drawing her and her sister in mirroring poses because they had the same pelt and eyes in game.

From left to right we have:

Figpaw is a troublesome cat interested in clan history and is an avid play-fighter. Her mentor is Sunflare.

Stagpaw is an ambitious picky nest builder. His mentor is Scalestripe.

Peakpaw is a wise picky nest builder. His mentor is Songlily.

Robinpaw is a lonesome avid play-fighter who is interested in clan history. Her mentor is Limepetal.

My goal for this blog is to draw every cat when they: join the clan, become an apprentice, are promoted, or when they die. I’ll also try to draw any major life events such as cats becoming mates or cats gaining scars. I will make a summary of major events that take place every in-game year and try to compound everything into a coherent narrative. However, I am disabled and have limited capacity to draw so I will not be holding myself to a schedule or quantity of art.
