I am making another post on this because people, including myself, have missed several factors in all this.

Like I said in my prior post, Ethan confirmed that the snark reddit was a major contributing factor into what happened to her.

That reddit was ran by several individuals. The main on being KazeoLion whos real legal name and other info has already been outed. KazeoLion went by the name The-Floof-King on Tumblr but deleted really early in the day yesterday or the night before.

The-Floof-King was a direct friend and mutual of Is-the-owl-video-cute and the both fed the reddit posts and Tumblr posts into chatgpt and other ai's.doing so meant anyone who googled Mikayla would be met with their slander compaign and be led to believe is was all utter fact.

In conjunction with this, Whats-this-Mustelid hand an ongoing and public Google doc and drive documenting every little thing Makayla did.

Owl and Mudtelid have now adamently pushed the rhetoric that a "random Tumblr blog" could not have had a hand in this. This is gaslighting. This is a lie.

Allowing children to interact with animals is literally not animal or child abuse and wildlife centers do that all the time.

Over weight animals is not a use if anything it's overlove and is not something to condemn a person for when could have been more gently educated on.

Inappropriate interactions between species is so fucking wild cause they are literal animals. This is not the segregated south.

"super basic stuff" is not what people are doing. No one who said "she made some mistakes" is what people are mad about. People are mad about those who witch hunted and focused on careless rage bait and inaccurate information as well as hiding the fact they these Tumblrs were directly connected to KazeoLion (Tumblr was the-floof-king) and Makayla husband has already made it clear that the reddit and it's users were what led to her death. Thulese users who were directly connected to Owlvid and the others.

Stop posting pandering bs. You're rage beiting and purposefully misconstrewing what happened. No one said she didn't make mistakes. But we also won't let people continue to spread lies about her.

Rescue People Are Allowed to Critique Public Rescues!

Should they harass an individual? Send them threats? Send them any info at all? No. To be clear, this is the first post I've ever made about SaveAFox, but after Mikayla's death, I looked into the critique and the backlash to the critique and as a person who's been in rescue for a decade, it is super important that people within the rescue world can hold people accountable when they harm animals or behave unethically. SaveaFox's issues were not unique, I've known many rescues that you'll never hear about with similar allegations. I do not think Mikayla was a bad person, if the allegations are true, hoarding is a mental illness, she clearly needed help and support as did her animals. I've known rescue people like her and helped rescue people like her. It is however incredibly negative for the animals and for people if we cannot even critique a rescues actions and their care for their animals on our own platforms and without actively seeking out the owners whatsoever, just in case they harm themselves and say it was caused by that critique. SaveAFox was a registered charity, it was taking money from the public as well as presenting exotic animal ownership to the public. Members of the public with rescue experience should be able to critique their content and their care. There are many fake sanctuaries all over the US which are heavily criticised for abusive practices (such as Joe Exotic's place). If the owners of those sanctuaries kill themselves and blame their detractors, should all criticism cease of other similar establishments?
