I really like this design; having her legs be retractable in a big tail, however I'm fully aware how I could be shooting myself in the foot with it's possible complexities. We'll see if it sticks!

Character Page for my OC Dustin Mercewood!

Character Details and Background:

Details:

Dustin is polyamorous and pansexual.

He enjoys writing letters to his friends, partners and lovers.

Dustin is a pacifist, not *completely* by choice. He doesn't enjoy getting into fights but he also doesn't care to learn magic more than making traveling easier for his job.

Dustin has to keep himself in shape, his stock is heavy. He carries his stock in a backpack, in addition to a cart in certain continents.

A former lover of his is who inspired him to take up trading.

Dustin currently works for the Covenant of Draconian Templars. He works as their trading liaison and as a Caretaker.

He is best friends with Petra and their sister LeNoire.

Background:

Dustin left his homeland to give his life a change of pace, his family being more interested in trying to climb up the social ladder. Their constant need for status eventually drove them apart. Dustin grew to disdain them and once he reached his adulthood, he cut contact and left.

Despite their differences Dustin did appreciate the socialization skills he developed due to his parents constant insistence of attending as many Elvish gatherings. Unlike his parents however, he always found pleasure in just meeting new people, going to new places, learning all the local gossip, and doing the occasional odd job.

After a century or two of wandering and heartbreaks, he found himself at the doorsteps of a secluded mountain covenant. Their sworn purpose is to protect dragons who chose a life of pacifism or need refuge from being hunted. His occupation there is as a Caretaker of hatchlings and older dragons.
