yknow sometimes i think no ones really interested in fgo anymore and then i find out that a jp player just beat the fucking impossible 3.5 billion hp unbeatable ORT story fight in LB7

if you thought the "someone beat the kirschtaria unwinnable story fight by using command seal refreshes over a few days" was a wild story, sit your ass down because frankly this shit is insane; it took them 108ish days and over 40 THOUSAND turns of making an unkillable comp to grind the fight. the game breaks down after 2 weeks irl of battle by "server connection error" so to prevent that and not get forcibly booted they played the whole thing on airplane mode, MEANING that they also didn't get command seal refreshes for this ordeal
fgo players will have even the most depraved perverts running for the hills with this type of dedication and willpower

Wonder if Relius had a point that people in the BBverse are just things. Not in the same way he does but ultimately that people are archetypes of a certain character type. Like across worlds and possibilities there is the “Naoto” character or the “Nu” character or the “Rachel” character and so on. Constants found across time-space but when push comes to shove and the two selves meet one proves interchangeable by the other. How is the bond between you and someone else supposed to be strong when another you can take your place? What worth is there being “you” when someone else is also “you” even as both lived different lives?

Concluding thoughts on Bloodedge Experience Part 2. Honestly felt it was the weaker of the two parts. Maybe it would’ve been more enjoyable had I gone in there blind but I can’t really think too highly of it. Biggest put-off is seeing say Kiiro or Spinner saying something and immediately going “this character is just off-brand Nu or Arakune” and thinking of them less as a character and more of just archetypes of characters. And that’s almost the entire cast tbh though barring a few exceptions such as Valk and Relius but that hinges on pre-existing knowledge of the main game’s story.
That’s not to say it’s a bad story just kinda flat. There’s some interesting lore tidbits to gleam from it and for all I know someone else could enjoy it more than I did. I’d call it a 3/5.

Bloodedge Experience Extra Chapter done. Relius and Valk have taken Saya and Relius notes Kuroki successfully installed the Murakumo Unit. Then are then found by Hazama who looks around Naoto’s age here. Valk hears Hazama muttering to himself how he’s “finally found Relius” in an ominous tone. Could just be Hazama being ominous or for all we know Terumi’s also here but it’s not a high chance. Then the story comes to its end.

Bloodedge Experience Epilogue done. Feel good moments abound. Kiiro opens up about her past and how she was made, Raquel tells Naoto she chose him for his “Azure” heartbeat and tells him to find her. Think this does mean the person who rescued her is Naoto at a later point but can’t confirm.

Chapter 11 done. The showdown between Naoto and Raquel vs Spinner Superior. I really can’t take Spinner seriously. He’s like if Roy/Arakune was a fedora wearing neckbeard constantly going “M’lady” at Raquel. Naoto has Black Beast powers or what I’m assuming Black Beast powers just because. A figure with a pair of black arms reach out to him and punch him and now he’s able to get shadow limbs. Originally I thought that maybe it was AoO Ragna that was somehow inside him and that would explain that whole “parallel existence” thing smoother but I don’t think that’s the case now.
Spinner Superior also has a reaction towards Naoto’s Drive… because. It’s not the first time this happened in the LN as it happened with Kiiro and Raquel in part one iirc. I can’t bring myself to care because it goes nowhere with later material in mind.

K Chapter 10 done. Not much to say. Saya fights Valkenhayn, Relius watches like a perv, Naoto intervenes, and Spinner Superior kidnaps Saya.
Relius notes that Saya’s using a technique to vastly increase her physical capabilities for a short while. Wonder if it’s just the Furinkazan or some prototype of it.

Chapter 9 done of BE. Got a bit of a bonding moment between Raquel and Naoto. Learn that because Clavis reattached his arm and spell on it Naoto’s blood is fusing with Raquel’s with the benefit of granting him more strength but keeping his transforms to a vampire slow. Interesting convo with Clavis and his goals. He wants to get rid of Drives as they can create monsters like him and so he wants erase them even if it means erasing himself.

Aight Chapter 8 done. Eh some decent lore dumps and Naoto gets some training. Here it heavily hints that Naoto and Kiiro have a life-link and she has some serious Nu-13 like dialogue. Makes me wonder how the rules of life-links and how they’re formed are supposed to work.

Part 2 of Bloodedge Experience has been translated and I’m gonna give my thoughts as I go chapter by chapter. Mostly nothing in-depth. Just some letting them out.
So starting with Chapter 7. The chapter where Naoto meets Saya Terumi with an intro of Raquel’s beginning and how she met Clavis. Not much else to gleam here I already didn't know before going in. Not to say that there isn’t as it seems going off this initial chapter Saya seems to remember her massacre of the Terumi clan differently than Naoto does and seems oblivious as to why Naoto takes umbrage with her presence. Kinda like Jin with Ragna but I’m not 100% sure about that or I’m just reading this wrong.
Regarding how Raquel escaped from being hooked up to the Boundary by a white haired and red eyed man going off my gut I’m gonna say it’s some future Naoto. Messed with a theory of mine but that’s probably who it is.
