Triangle Shape You have narrower hips than your shoulders. V-necks and thick straps give the illusion of narrower shoulders. Wide necklines and scoop necks are also flattering for triangle shapes. If you want to cover up your shoulders, long sleeves are ideal and also work well for Autumn/Winter Weddings. Force the eye downwards with interesting details around the middle and bottom of your gown. Avoid puffed sleeves, halter necks and off-the-shoulder as these will draw attention to wider shoulders. hourglass You have balanced chest and hips giving you that defined waist. Accentuate your narrow waist with fitted silhouettes and fluted skirts. To really show off your waistline, add a beaded belt if your gown doesn't have one. To draw a bit of attention to your décolletage look for a V-neckline. Friday Favourites - the great gatsby!  Cant wait to see the film the trailers look great Chloe Louise Parry designed a great Bob look (without the need for sissors!) and Chloe Louise Hewitt created the makeup to match.  Chloe wont thank me for putting in the raw before but it helps to show that you don’t need sissors and a drastic cut to get the look!
