I plan to come back to this blog, I swear, I just keep forgetting that it exists XD

I'm making a story on Thrushstar, SkyClan leader from Clans In Darkness. Well, more so a series of very short stories highlighting parts of his life, I write the story up, then draw art to go with it, then post it to various places, which I'll link below, allowing anyone who wants to look, different ways to do so..

I made Mudstar look younger in the redraw, because the timeline of CLID has changed a bit since I originally wrote it, so he's younger.

Lionstar(ShC leader) also exists, but he isn't in this because he wasn't in the original. Then again neither was Thistlestar but WindClan is more important than ShadowClan in CLID– and I had empty space to fill, soo, Thistle....

Self reblog of introductory post to give me an easy way to provide an update, that isn't just 100% words. As for the Grassheart PMV.. I do want to finish it, but I don't know when that'll be.. Although.. I have made progress since the original posting of the WIP version, but that was almost directly after initially posting it.

Hello, and welcome to my warrior cat OC blog, this'll be the place I post random content regarding my warrior cat ocs. I have a lot of them. And you can see three of them above, those three are, Runningflame(brown tortie), Petalstar(yellow) And, least relevant of these three, we have Creektail(brown and white) At the time of making this original art, I hadn't redesigned Creektail yet, now I have, this design that I used here is outdated. These three cats, mostly just Runningflame and Petalstar, are important characters to my warrior cats fanfic plot, clans in darkness, which will be a tag that everything regarding cats from that timeline will have in the post.

Design Mistake In PMV, Oops.

Lionspeckle, I got her pattern wrong in the PMV, I just looked at her name, and I forgot that she, weirdly enough.. isn't speckled, she is a ticked tabby. XD I'll fix the frames other than the kitten frames and her death frame.

Grassheart PMV WIP

Grassheart is a clangen character from my main save, HorizonClan. Her design is a bit complicated, so it may be inconsistent, sorry, but I'm working hard on this PMV, which was inspired by this video by "flypaw" or on tumblr as– @through-frost-and-flames Check it out if you haven't– it's really good.. And also.. kinda sad.. but still.. I like it.

I took inspiration from this PMV in the sense that Grassheart here is.. like Rainshade in the original, cursed with losing a lot of family and more specifically her kits.. She lost all of her first litter within a short timespan, there were five kits in that first litter she had.

: Events seen in PMV, in order :

• Grasskit(brown kit) as a little kit with her mother Whorlpounce(gray cat) and brother Snapkit(off white colored kit)

• Grasskit and Snapkit slightly older.

• Grasspaw and Snappaw sitting at Whorlpounce's grave after her death.

• Grassheart and Snapskitter as new warriors, looking very happy about it.

• Grassheart, now a mother, with her litter of kittens , Thornkit(brown), Dustkit(tabby), Cricketkit(brown speckled), Dropletkit(blueish) and Lionkit(white speckled)

• Dustkit is removed because she died.

• Very rushed drawing that I made of rouges coming into camp in the middle of the night.

• In said rouge attack, both Snapskitter who had a spinal injury at the time, and Cricketpaw are killed in the attack.

• In the same moon, Thornpaw was also killed when the rouges attacked a patrol.

• Just sad Grassheart.. nothing else to it.

• After that point, it is unfinished, but I typed what event I'm planning to put there on the video, so if you're curious for now, read that.

*UNEXPECTED UPDATE* I got Lionkit's design wrong. Weirdly enough despite her warrior name Lionspeckle, she isn't speckled like she is in the PMV. I'll fix the more simple frames for the final product, but not her death frame or the kitten frames.

Fernfeather, Mothglide and Micastar

Ah yes, Micastar with her two husbands. Uh, the reason "the two husbands" look so similar is because uhh, Mothglide(spotted tabby) is Fernfeather's(normal tabby) father... uhhh– so yeah, Micastar is mates with both of them, a father and son, hm- These characters are actually from clangen, of HorizonClan, not from my main OC storyline.

You may use it for your poly kitties or parent and child

Finchpelt is a gray tabby tom with blue eyes.

Finchpelt, again had a stereotypical life until the whole "Sparrowheart being fully sterile" situation, that I mentioned when I posted her design. For more details on Finchpelt's side of the situation, I'll give those details now– So, upon finding that Sparrowheart was fully sterile, despite wanting kits, Finchpelt went to his mate, Foxpelt and pleaded with her to work as a surrogate for Sparrowheart's full inability to ever have kits. This seems selfish as far as Foxpelt's feelings are concerned, but selfless as far as Sparrowheart's feelings are concerned. And while Foxpelt agreed, it would come at the cost of her's and Finchpelt's relationship, which made him feel distraught, but he still went through with it. Eventually, about the same time as one of those kits, Brackenpaw, he and Finchpelt both caught greencough and soon died.

His name makes no sense, you say? Well, that's just warrior cats, not my fault. XD

Sparrowheart is an unusual looking tortoiseshell molly with blue eyes.

For Runningflame's 2nd set of cousins, we have, again through her father, but this time from Lakepetal, his sister. Sparrowheart and her brother Finchpelt– who I'll post next.

Sparrowheart had a stereotypical life for a long time, when suddenly, she began acting sad about something that she was trying to hide. She felt lonely, never finding a mate. But she did want kits eventually, which wouldn't have happened, even if she had eventually found a mate. Because Sparrowheart discovered that she was sterile and she never could have kits. This news shocked and devastated her, and once her brother got onto that something was wrong, he agreed to father a litter of kits with his mate Foxpelt, solely for the purpose of giving Sparrowheart a litter of kits to raise as her own, despite not really caring about ever having kits himself, Foxpelt being the same. Sparrowheart lived a good life, despite one of the kits dying as an apprentice, along with Finchpelt from greencough, until eventually, Sparrowheart herself died in a skirmish with RiverClan sometime in the kit's warriorhood.

Flywing is a ginger and white molly with amber eyes, white paws, and a white tail tip.

Last of Mudfeather's kits, Flywing. Flywing is a character that I have barely anything to say about, unfortunately, as she never was a very common character I used, died earliest in her litter, and she never had a mate or any kits. But despite this, her death was a noble one, some rouges had found, and stolen one of WindClan's kits after he snuck out of camp, and she was hit by a monster, trying to fling the kit clear of it after the startled rouge that was dragging the kit tripped when one was coming and didn't bother grabbing the kitten again, so Flywing took the opportunity and had saved him instead, but died in his place.

Dovetalon is a large and physically strong light ginger tom with yellow eyes and a little fang that always pokes out on one side.

Dovetalon exists once again! He was in the incomplete art of Reedwing's death, yep, he is one of Runningflame's young cousins and Fernheart's littermate. He also– eventually goes on to be the father of Petalstar's kits.. them having two litters worth, three in the first, all she cats(like Bloodstorm) And later, they had two more kits– a tom, being their only son, and another she cat. Some cats expected Dovetalon to pursue another mate after Petalstar died, because he always loved the constant companionship a mate brought, but he never did, vowing to wait to join her in StarClan instead, which he eventually did, on one day in leafbare, as an elder. Dovetalon had been refusing to eat, so his clanmates could eat instead, starving to death. He was found to have died by his youngest daughter Spottedflower, who normally visited him..

I'm showcasing Runningflame's cousins.

Fernheart is a cream and white tabby molly with blue eyes, her fur feels soft and thick.

Fernheart and her littermates, who I'll post all of them next– are cousins of Runningflame through her father's brother, Mudfeather, who had died soon after his kits were born. Fernheart herself is a bubbly, sweet cat, as implied heavily by her happy expression. She eventually, due to an initial oversight on my part.. had kits with another of her cousins, but, uhh- let's not focus on dumb things like that.. dumb things that the canon books themselves break.. very frequently. Er, um- Anyway, Fernheart had a pretty stereotypical warrior cat life, with nothing unusual, before she eventually died of currently unspecified causes, ascending to StarClan after death.

Fernheart and her littermates are younger than Runningflame and her own, but are still older than all their other cousins.. including the one I accidentally made into Fern's mate.

Goodbye Bloodstorm.. You Deserve This.

This art is a bit old, it's from May 2023, but honestly, I'm still quite proud of it, shockingly enough. As you could probably guess, this art is of Bloodstorm and Cherryfrost fighting into the lake and drowning each other, giving me very strong Onestar and Darktail vibes...

Bloodstorm is a scrawny(doesn't look it here) badly scarred golden and white molly with firey amber eyes, her fur is ragged and dulled with age, her teeth are dark yellow and her sharp claws are stained red from blood.

Bloodstorm, the bane of her mother's whole existence.. Bloodstorm was born under the name Honeykit with her sisters to Petalstar. She grew up happy, but became very violent as an apprentice– so violent that Honeypaw was held back from being made a warrior. A decision that infuriated Honeypaw and drove her to the point of murdering her mentor. In which she was immediately exiled for. Angry and grieving, Petalstar forever carried the question with her, asking how her daughter became the way she did. Honeypaw soon renamed herself Bloodstorm and continued, very actively terrorizing the clans, forming a rouge group that would often attack her old clan at random times. Bloodstorm's reign of terror over the clans, especially WindClan, only ended many years later, after she killed many, many cats, when her own littermate, Cherryfrost had sacrificed herself to drown Bloodstorm in the lake, both dying from it.

Yeah, the reason the storyline is called clans in darkness, is because there's just so many villains in it, therefore thrusting the clans into darkness, which again is the arc's namesake.

I mentioned Patchkit's death was the root of Goldenskip's behavior, well I just drew this... I made it so that the green eyed silhouette cat in the background, is their mother Graymask.

Art from September 2023 that I never got to finishing, using an old design for Goldenskip showing one of his many crimes– this being that, moons after being exiled, he killed the medicine cat, Reedwing(gray) while she was out gathering herbs alone one day, killing her was an act, that led WindClan into having no medicine cat, as Reedwing was still a fairly young cat, and never trained an apprentice.

The other cats here are.. well- Goldenskip. Along with Petaltail(star) And a new cat, Dovetalon(light ginger), who at the time of this scene has only been a warrior for a day, he's very young here, and he sure looks it.

The scene I drew here itself, is mostly complete, though never 100% finished. The chsnges are that Runningflame is here too, and obviously, I never made a background.

Goldenskip, a villain character in the story.

Goldenskip is a large, muscular golden tom with blue eyes. He was Runningflame's 2nd mentor after her first one died, but was very violent with her, and once hurt her so badly during "training" that Thistlestar– the clan leader, and Runningflame's father, exiled him for his terrible treatment of Thistlestar's kit. However, this didn't slow Goldenskip down forever, as he plotted with the deputy of his former clan, Ravenclaw to poison Thistlestar, and suceeded at killing the still fairly young leader off, now making Ravenstar the leader.

Goldenskip's behavior comes from an event when he was a kit. When his sister Patchkit, was killed by dogs. Goldenskip then grew up feeling only the strongest should, and would survive– secretly picking off the weaker cats.
