You have a very good point honestly, I think that's why I enjoyed the first season of Monsters at Work so much, seeing a person affected by change in this case Tyler, I think it was a good Expansion for the franchise, genuinely when they announced MaW I'm glad it was a series and not a movie, Monsters Inc has a very rich universe to explore.

But I must confess that I have a soft spot for the dynamic that was established with Mike, Sully and Boo and I would like to see more of them, I miss them.

From what I understand, they didn't want Boo to appear, since they wanted to leave the nice ending of Monsters Inc. and not risk ruining it, so I'm not sad if Boo doesn't appear again, Because it's understandable, but I would really like to see the family dynamics of the three of them again 😅.

I've found an article where's written that third Monsters movie in possible working. Hmm maybe it's a hint that instead of MAW S3 we're get a new Monsters movie? Dunno as long as it's gonna be amazing I'm in!

Then I wanna see the old and new characters in the movie, especially Randall as a well written and frightening and dramatic! (Either a redemption for him ...)

Also more about Roger and MIFT gang especially they're should showing Fritz's daughter and his wife as flashbacks!

What happened to FearCo?

I'd love to know more. And uhm what Declan going to do?

They're should include other former ROR guys. I'd love to see Chip or Javier. Chet already was in the movie and the series.

Also would love to see Oozma Kappa and Dean again.

Other wishes to see Boo & Sulley and Mike's reunion at the screen.

I want the movie would be longer like two hours long or three hours long.

Mostly I'm for Sulley and Mike vs Randall either Tylor confrontation with Randall. I can't decide. I'm crazy for angst like this!

To be honest, I would especially love the part about Boo, Mike, and Sully. I have the headcanon that they continued visiting her, maybe Sully becoming a father figure to Boo and Mike like an uncle.

I feel that Boo being a teenager would have a lot of complications with Mike. I don't know, I would love to see the dynamics of the three of them, with Boo already a teenager, Maybe in her personality you can see traits of both Mike and Sully's personalities, even small gestures similar to theirs, I wouldn't love to see that. 🥹

I would also love to see Ozzma Kappa and Mift again, but sometimes I feel that Monsters Inc continues as a franchise and a series seems more appropriate to me than a movie.
