Redesigns

I decided to redesign my MLP infection AU OCs

I believe that these redesigns show my art progression and I'm very proud of them. As I cover old designs I will explain what I disliked about them.

OBSIDIAN BLAST

OLD DESIGN

There was not much that I necessarily hated about his design. he had a design prior to this design shown from a prior 'cast concept'. His design went from simple to more complex as time went on.

NEW DESIGN

Furthermore, I want to set pony races further apart, in a sense.

Unicorns got cloven hooves and the long tail, I also tend to make them taller

Pegasus now have birdlike tail bases and little claw-thumb things on them

With other species such as bat ponies and other equine species I will be getting to them eventually as I am trying to find out what the lore to the universe I am making.

FLYING COMET

(Now changed to Morning Comet)

OLD DESIGN

Comet's design never quite sat right with me as far as I can remember. The blue was too dull, on top of the bright blue gradient, and her cutie mark, and lastly her bright yellow eyes felt out of place to me.

NEW DESIGN

When drawing the redesign the thing I changed first was the name. Once I was satisfied with the name change I looked for a reference(as you can see the color picked colors which were slightly changed when used in the top left corner). I struggled with coloring this redesign with the colors I had but in the end I am happy with how it turned out.

IVY GARDEN

OLD DESIGN

For Ivy Garden: I didn't like the random white spot I placed on the snout, it felt extremely out of place to me with all the other ponies, asides from Obsidian Blast, had more than a singular white spot. Ivy Garden's hair also became a pain to draw.

NEW DESIGN

I made him more vibrant, added more than natural tones but tried to stick with something simplistic. thinking back: All the ponies I drew were dull in color and I think I like the more vibrant colors for these characters.

TRAILBLAZER

I can’t remember a point where I loved her design. It just doesn’t feel ‘right’. Looking at it now makes me feel like it was somewhat rushed

small update on infection au

first comic page is done. I’m waiting to post it so I can figure out exactly where to go. As of now, I’m sketching out theoretical key moments.

After a minor absence

Nothing notable in my absence besides a bunch of emotional trash, Playing some Minecraft, listening to music, etc.

it may be 2:30am right now but that’s not gonna stop me from showing a WIP. It may or may not look like it, but it is not a troll. It’s a species I’m working on developing.

Once this is finished, I have a few ideas of what I want to do. Just for fun. But if you want the chance of having a free oc and a headshot of it, keep an eye out 👁️

after that maybe a few 5$ adopts cuz I’m flat broke. ^^

this below applies for only the icons/headshots as the Customs will include a more complex headshot and bust as well as a more chibi full body. (depends on style and complexity. The chibi style would be on the lower side of things. The ones like the trolls would be cheaper-middle priced and the centaur would be on the higher side because his hair was a bit difficult.)

these are literally my favorite to do and I need something to do and I’ll try to get them done within the first 3-4 hours of accepting. If I require more time I will notify.

The judge asked, slightly shocked, thinking that this case wouldve taken longer. not understanding that Guilty is the man's name. "Yes sir, I am Guilty. The man stated. Not understanding the judge's confusion. The judge then proceeded to ask the jury, to which they said "We believe this man, is indeed as he stated, Guilty." "Case closed." The judge stated. "i find this man, Guilty." The man seemed confused, Then the judge looked at him. "and what was your name, sir? i dont believe you ever told me." "My name is Guilty, your honor." the man stated, still confused. the judge stared at him for a moment.. "Sh!t."

i thought of this while thiking about making another fantroll and naming him Guilty. idk, i thought y'all might get a kick out of this.
