Tox slowly trails after him. Her bare feet on the floor make faint squelching sounds as she walks.

Mal wakes up in the middle of the knight and opens his eyes to find Tox standing over him staring blankly. Her eyes are glowing and something about her shape just feels very very wrong. He might just be tired but it sure looks like her skin is rippling.

Malleus blinked a few times as he looked at the kid, slowly sitting up on the bed. He took a second, his head tilting as he looked at the girl,,

" ..Kid? You doing okay? "

He asked hesitantly, a small yawn leaving him as he spoke. Something was.. wrong, thats for sure,, he just wasnt too sure what yet..

I’m playing a bard who got exploited by a traveling circus and accidentally burned down the whole tent and everyone inside, and now somehow she got roped into traveling with a band of hooligans

I was so excited when she started picking up some levels in ranger because with both the person she learned ranger skills from and what she was using for, becoming a ranger was a huge piece of character growth for her.

So everyone who has told me that ranger is the worst class and I’m so sorry STFU

“Im assuming ny boyfriend adopted you?”

The only reason I’m not meltin your face off right now is cus you got me out. But I COULD, so you better not mess with me.

After a while of searching, Malleus had found what he assumed to be where Tox was being held. Standing carefully on one of the more stable fire escapes, putting his weight only on places that felt stable enough to hold him, he approached a window.

He pulled the armored glove off his hand, pressing his hand against the glass, a soft red glow spreading across the window as it started to crack and break, before the glass shattered. Malleus pulled his hand back, putting his glove back on.

He poked his head through the window, looking around the room, before calling out,

" Hello? Kid? "

Tox slowly pokes her head out from under the bed and stares at the shattered glass everywhere. She barely even looks at the stranger who just broke into the apartment.

… she’s not gonna be happy about that
