Just wanted to share some doodles of my poor distressed child 4771CU5 or more commonly known out of the hive as ‘Atticus’. They’re a A.I. homebrew character I made for DnD and are absolutely doing their best.

Haven’t been able to test them out in a campaign but some day...

Taz graduation theory

Fitzroy keeps invoking his “family’s long line of knights” almost to the point of suspicion. Also he knew he MIGHT develop magic but wasn’t sure of it, and was ashamed of it when it appeared. That combined with the prefix “Fitz” which historically has been used to signify illegitimate children...

It would make sense narratively for Fitzroy to be a bastard child, and probably not totally accepted by his Powerful Influential Family from the beginning. Whoever the “unwanted” parent was is probably a magic user/sorcerer of some kind. He was holding out hope that his magic wouldn’t develop as a last-ditch effort to be seen as legitimate by the Maplecourts. So when it did develop, it not only confirms that he is indeed a bastard, but is a constant reminder of this shame that he feels about this

Also fantasy racism is a bummer but this also means Fitzroy being a HALF elf is probably significant

God this is such a bummer of a theory all around actually I’m sorry 😅

i love how after being slept on for two campaigns, clints character is finally just as much of a sensation as the Sons’ are. merle, ned, and thacker always seemed like theyre kinda in the background in comparison to the other pcs.  basically: CLINT MCELROY’S CHARACTERS DESERVE THE WORLD AND ARGO KEENE IS THE ONLY BRAINCELL THE GRADUATION CHARACTERS HAVE
