"Whatever it takes", Clyde pointed out firmly. "You're not known for playing fair either for all I can remember" He eyed the guard for a moment until stepping back, beginning to turn his body away from him. "Whatever you say, mate. Take care" A small twitch of his lips, a wink. "Of Cassi I mean"

âSo, so true..â he laughed. âSo, show me, slave. Whatâs your definition of risque? Hm?â

Text: Well, a few occasional words, yes. So what?
Text: That doesn't answer my question, Rekha. I was asking if you believe him or not.
Text: Cause it bloody sounds like you do
[Text -Rekha]: Done with acting as though you are in grade school.
Text: Certainly done. Done with that for years now actually.
Text: Is there anything else you want?

Clyde was not the least bit surprised by Jane taking the initiative. He knew whom he had texted after all. Lips twitching upwards a little, he indulged in the kiss, his hand moving upwards to grab her hair in response. "Not bad", he hummed in agreement against her lips. "Not bad at all"
@clydexfoy
Smiling a little to himself as he read Janeâs last text, he got up, just ready to head towards her place. He wasnât sure what drove him to that point, usually not one to indulge in such simple pleasures, much less interested in developing friendships but fuck it. There was a short moment of silence, light and eventually footsteps until he was greeted with the lovely woman. âSo tell me more about what Iâm thinking, loveâ
Jane smirked at her phone before shoving it in the back pocket of her jeans, relaxing on her couch until he arrived. Kicking off her shoes, she had just gotten comfy when she heard the knock at her door and headed towards it. Greeting him with an enticing smile. She slowly stepped towards him, into his personal space as she replied. âWell, Iâm no psychic, but I think it might be something like this?â She said, gripping his shirt and pulling him into a kiss.Â

Clyde didn't flinch when the guard came closer. It almost became part of their weekly routine as often as they found themselves in that position. "Perhaps I already have. Would you know?", he challenged. "I'm not scared of you, Milo. If anything, if you hurt me, I'll just hurt her again. If you stop me, I can send for somebody else to do the job. I wonder who's gonna last longer"

"I know!", Clyde snapped at her, cutting off her desperate pleadings. It did well to anger the male even more. It was terrible enough that Winter somehow managed to escape or who knows, actually got herself killed, though he quite clearly couldn't believe the latter, he certainly didn't need her doppelganger to voice it.
Clyde watched her slip, throwing the towel behind him as he came closer, squatting right in front of her as though she was a precious jewel in an exhibition. "Look, you've hurt yourself now" His voice was calmer again, almost worried, though barely able to control himself. Oh, he hated witches. The male grabbed her hair to pull her up on her knees as he got up himself again. "What on earth shall I just do with you.."

Clyde, granted, was a little surprised to hear her agree with him. It was victory of some sorts and he would have shown it had he the means to do so. However, she was rewarded with a moment of peace and silence, his muscles relaxing in response and they'd better enjoy it for as long as it lasted. A sigh escaped his lips as he watched the battlefield fade away behind them. But that surely wouldn't be the end of it.
"Perhaps this is me saying that you can save the efforts and just let me go back because that's what's going to happen anyway sooner or later", Clyde offered surprisingly calm. He knew he had to change tactics. Rekha's words flattered him more than it should. To be fair, she was one of the last people Clyde thought about manipulating but there he was now, going through his options again. "I'm sorry", he then mumbled after a short pause. Clyde almost expected her to find out right away. She was rather skilled in spotting liars but that was his best shot, wasn't it? Perhaps it was about time to actually make use of his brain again, something he realized he hadn't bothered with for a long time. "I-", Clyde breathed out softly against her shoulder as if struggling with his words. "Never mind. I just- I didn't realize, that's all."
Odds In Your Favour || Clyde&Rekha
clydexfoyâ:
âMaybe youâve just lost your emotions then. Maybe thereâs a reason people should not live that longâ, Clyde concluded sharply. Something just had to get to her. The longer Rekha carried him around like a piece of meat, the longer she pretended like nothing ever happened, the faster his anger boiled up. It wasnât fair. She was one of the few people he actually behaved properly around, at least somewhat, and that was how the world thanked him for it.
âI hope you do realize that Iâll go back to my place once you set me down again, from here or from your suite, it does not make a difference to meâ, Clyde remarked, the words followed by a curse shortly after. Was he acting childish? Probably. But he saw no other choice but to pull the womanâs hair now. If anything that might annoy her as much as she annoyed him. âAnd what if Iâm being treated injustly first? Thatâs just bullshit, Rekha. You could have at least askedâ
âPerhaps you are right,â she said freely, nodding once. âThere are consequences to everything, immortality is no exception,â she added- of course, she didnât mention that sheâd been this way even as a child, stoic and calm and unbothered. But she meant it when she said it couldâve also been a side effect of living forever- for others. Sheâd seen it happen often enough, immortals losing reason and humanity as the centuries passed.Â
When Clyde mentioned that heâd leave once they were at her place, Rekha didnât bother to respond, the housing buildings appearing in the distance. âIt amuses me that you ask me to put you down while in the same breath you admit that you will simply run if I do so. You need to work on your convincing, Clyde, you are quite bad at it,â she said, her lips twitching lightly. Though when he pulled at her hair, she did sigh under her breath. âAnd now you are resorting to kicking and pulling hair like a child. Perhaps if you acted like an adult, you would be treated like one. How long will it take you to realize that I actually do not mind your company when you are acting as you should be?â she admitted, shaking her head as she all but ignored his hair pulling as she moved into the building, knowing damn well that people were looking over at the spectacle they were creating. âDo you understand how much worse this could have turned out for you? Me tossing you over my shoulder because you are being a brat is me being nice. I do not think you understand what I am capable of.â

Clyde thought that their conversation would be over with that and to be fair, he was kinda proud of himself for as long as it lasted. Of course he knew that the girl was still thinking about his words but he managed to stay true to his words without shedding any tears. Good so far, wasn't it?
Turned out Clyde didn't like the answer to that rhetorical question. He looked up at her, eyes alerted as he realized what he had just said. "Well yeah.. Kinda but-" He then shook his head. "No. Forget it. Don't be like me. People don't like me, remember? Just forget about it, love"
clydexfoyâ:
A brow rose and that must have been the only sign of recognition the male offered her for a while. His hand flew across the pages, seemingly dancing, scribbling anf eventually coming to a stop.
âThen do the opposite of what youâre doing?â, he wondered more to himself before eventually meeting her eyes. âWell, I donât know. I donât mind being alone, less people to take care of and stuffâ Clyde offered the whole issue a shrug.
Sibyla lay back on her bed with a sigh. She couldnât be more different to Clyde she realised⌠He was confident, brash and comfortable with who he was. She was shy, polite and insecure. Sometimes she envied him.Â
âYour advice is to not be myself? To be more like you?â
