Maslow before Bloom

In my work as a personal leadership coach, this mantra. People must have their fundamental human needs addressed before we can get into professional development. So my coaching conversations always begin with a real, conscious check-in of how they are doing, as people.

Whenever I meet one-on-one, I title my notebook entry "Learning from ___." Because even as their mentor, there's always something to learn from my people. #mentorship #coaching
