MY BACKGROUND I joined the Armed Services as a way out of poverty and to get an education. My military experience showed me first hand how effective personalized motivation was in helping us reach our goals. Teamwork was more than a buzzword, it was a way of thinking that saved lives and that I valued as the best method for producing outstanding results in myself and others. As an Airborne Medic, I was on the frontline of emergency health, giving me an appreciation for the value of overall wellness. Toward the later part of my Army career, I began battling weight issues that caused a spike in my cholesterol levels. Never one to let life just happen to me, I got an online health & fitness coach held me accountable to an in-home workout and healthy eating. My coach also introduced me to supplements to assist in getting my health under control. The results were immediately obvious to my friends and family, many of whom were looking for a partner in their personal development, health & fitness goals. So, I decided to pay it forward as a Hawaii based Team Beachbody Coach. Now, I encourage others (online) to develop and commit to a meal plan (diet) and exercise routine that works for them on their quest to live healthier and more fulfilling lives.
