Notes on the Glitch

START LOG: Coccora hasss made a home on a remote planet, that sssseems to only be actively inhabited by a sssmall village of Glitch. Cocco knowsss of the Glitch from writingsss and conversssation. However, with sssome ssspecimines in ssuch clossse proximity, Cocco feels it wissse to proceed with caution and obssserve.

Firssst few encounterss with thessse automatonsss hass been pleassant. Coccora quite likes the friendly attitude of these neighborsss.

However, ssssometimessss Cocco has a hard time undersssstanding them completely...Supossse that'ss what makess them more intriguing. ...Ssseriously though, do Glitch even really need to ussse toiletsss?

The town sssseemed less traversed and somewhat sparssse. Cocco can ssssee they don't have any crops and jusssst one livessstock to eat.

Orrr, Cocco issss mistaken and they have plenty of livessstock, jussst prefer to keep them in the attic, for sssome reassson. Coccora wondersss if controlled-climate indoor-raised autochicken isss a more exclusssive commodity in thesssse parts?

Next, Cocco came upon a resssident that had been accidentally cloned in a freak accident with a pixel printer. They invited Cocco in for automato stew and told all about it. Apparently they sssettled here becaussse they were too afraid to approach their ssship's pixel printer again.

Indeed, the Glitch village issss quite sssstrange. The resssidents were friendly and open for trade, and even had sssome interesssting sstories. Cocco is glad for trading opporitunity near the bassse. Will report more later.

Cocco isss pleassed. Was sstarting to think the journalisssts at The Starbound Timesss had all been assssassinated. Or the paper boy wasss mauled by wild beasssts on hisss delivery route. Or maybe that Cocco's ssssubscription expired.

Anywayss,Cheersss! Reading the paper over brunch iss one of favorite thingsss to do. I hope the ssstories in the next issssue will be as good as Cocco's boneboo quiche.

Today, Coccora discovered the firsst planet of hiss catalog with giant fungi foresssts. Ahh, remindss Cocco of home. Thesse little mussshy fellowsss are frolicking innocently enough...Cocco will passs through and keep exploring....

Assstounding! The mussshroom thicket opened into a gully, with what appearsss to be....it looks like an inhabited cave house nearby. Cocco invessstigates further..wondering what he'll dissscover...Maybe sssome primitive form of life? A casssstaway alien? At the very leassst, some pixels to piliage?

Cave appearsss to be empty, sso Cocco smashed the clay pots for pixelsss...wait, whatsss that? Another Floran...?

Cocco has discovered a bizzare social species of fungimorphs, not unlike my own cocoonkin...however, I have asssessed that they are not Florans...and may not even be sapient, assss much as I can tell. They alsssso have a very poor sssense of design and engineering. There isss no furniture, what iss this house for? Thissss door doessn't go anywhere! Absurd!

Ssso far, they have shown no aggresssion, or particular interessst in invesstigating Cocco. Thessse brutess are dumb, grotesssque, sssmell funny, and are no good at talking...Floransss, in general, may not have a massstery of language either, but thesse guysss take the cake. Thiss one here iss a weaponsss merchant. Not gonna lie, thessse Fungi sell some nice toysss! Coccora got himself some souveniersss...

Sssso, night is coming, and I find myssself at the edge of this ssstrange villiage. Ssssomething sseems off with thisss species. This villiage sssseems almost manufactured, and the materialsss are newer. None of Cocco's booksss catalog any animalsss or beingsss that look like thisss, and the transssslator wouldn't parse their language. Sssseems as though Coccora hass dissscovered a completely new ssspeciess.

For sssome reassson though, he feels very put-off...Time to beam up to the sssship and log this entry...theresss no way I'm ssssleeping down here. No beds!
