Just made pleasantview into a sub hood with strangetown as a base, I made sure no hobby lots were attached before I did it, what I want to do now is move Ripp grunt and his husband to pleasant view, I’ve always perceived Ripp to be stifled by strange town and wanting to see the world. Kristen lost too, except she’s married to Tank who definitely doesn’t wanna move from strangetown. I mean her bio literally says that strangetown is just a place she’s passing through for her career and I plan to make pleasantview into like the main hub for everything, bars, clubs, swanky shopping centres the likes, it just seems like a city to me, Idk, in comparison to strangetown. I feel like Kristen would prefer it, considering how much Buzz hates her and she resents living under his roof lool.

Sims 2 Natural Science career Fixed

A few months ago, I uploaded a fix of the Natural Science career that added chance cards. But it still had a problem with the first level. The chance card says you get fired but that is not coded properly.

Now, the Sim will properly be fired from the first level if you choose the wrong option.

Had so much fun playing scripted strange town today, I basically neglected Circe beaker and Loki beaker. Their needs kept plummeting and like a cruel god every time they tried to raise their bars with an object I deleted it while they were using the object. It was so fucking funny. Eventually they died after several hours of slow psychological torture by me, eventually I smit them (their needs were in the trenches) so they died easily. on the opposing side I sent nervous into platinum aspiration and he got engaged to Pascal curious and adopted a cat. Eventually after Loki and Circe died, I moved nervous out, and since he inherited the entire house, he now has 72 thousand simoleons to start a new life with his husband Pascal. It was the most fun I’ve had in ages.

For build/buy mode, I use a lot of default replacements and conversions specifically from Lord crumps. You can get for example all 4t2 wallpapers, doors and windows. Honestly teaaddicts video does a good job of providing information on that see here.

For the general aesthetic of the game , I use dreadpirate-gunmod’s lighting mod, it makes the game look aesthetically pleasing. There’s some caveats though, for example when you want to modify the terrain in neighbourhood view, the green highlight that appears when you’re modifying the terrain is invisible. Your modify terrain tool isn’t broken it’s just invisible now. I play the legacy edition so this is the one I personally use. If you play the ultimate collection there’s a different download I think it’s this one.

I also use skyboxes to have that open world feel, and this too to make the environment look more lived in. I also use tvickie sims default replacements for all the terrain paints in build mode. I use Honeywell’s default replacements for the trees in neighbourhood view. There’s also a good video on YouTube by accottonsock on making your game look really good. If your computer isn’t very powerful be careful with what you pick and choose from the video.

I use a combo tvickie sims and criquette’s rural charm default replacements. I use this version specifically because when you have them you don’t need to place road overlays. See here.

Furthermore, some of these default replacements are high poly(skyboxes and terrain paints for example). so watch out for that .Honeywell’s tree replacement aren’t high poly though,. Read all the instructions for each mod, it’s important or things may not show up properly or worse crashing. I hope this helps 😊
