//i haven't gotten many asks here (still need to make a proper promo post) but this blog is more or less an ask blog!
Are "ask-fictional-character" blogs still a thing on Tumblr? Did I miss that boat?

I'm going up against an opponent who keeps spamming sandstorm and double team. What do I do his evasion is too high.
An always accurate move, such as Swift or Aerial Ace, should make quick work of that strategy.

Opinion on Stall Tatics?
They're super effective as long as you've got a way to deal damage! I go for status moves like Leech Seed and Toxic, but anything that chips away at your opponent's health works!

Hi there. I have a team consisting of a Galarian Zigzagoon, a Sneasel, and a Swinub. I've been hoping to get more type diversity on my team. What would you suggest?
Coach D here! When you're tackling the question of what types to add to your team, sometimes it's easier to turn it around and ask what the types you already have are lacking.
Galarian Zigzagoon's Dark/Normal. Sneasel's Dark/Ice. Swinub's Ice/Ground. What really jumps out here is all of your Pokémon are weak to Fighting moves, with two of them even being critically weak!
So obviously, that's what you need to counter. A Ghost Pokémon won't be affected by Fighting attacks at all, or if you'd rather go on the offensive a Flying or Psychic type Pokémon can hit them where it hurts. Can't recommend any species in particular since I don't know what's around you, but you should do well with a Pokémon of any of those three types!

Welcome to Code Hoenn!
We're a Hoenn based team of coaches working together to help people bring out the strength of their Pokémon. We can only work with trainers from Hoenn in person, of course, but on this blog we'll take questions from and give advice to trainers all over the world. You can ask for help from any of us in particular if you like, or we'll assign someone with skills most suited to your situation.
Of course, you'll need to know who we are to work with us! We took turns writing out introductions, and here you are!
Coach D: Hey there! I'm the mighty Coach D, and I'm a he/they sort of guy! Coach G is my best buddy, but I pride myself on being approachable in general! My strongest Pokémon is my Houndoom, and I favor the aggressive approach in battle—they can't hit you if you take them down first, and it's easy to protect against your own attacks!
Coach E: Hello, trainers. I'm Coach E, and my pronouns are they/them. I'm afraid I'm not usually one for small talk or casual connections, but I enjoy intellectual conversations quite a bit. My ace Pokémon is my Manectric, and I enjoy strategies that increase the accuracy of your own attacks while preventing your opponent from landing super effective hits.
Coach G: Heheh! It's me, Coach G! Looks like Coach D already mentioned me, but now you get the real thing! I use he/him, and my best's my Granbull! Intimidate's the name of the game, and cutting other stats isn't bad either! If nothing your enemy does can do anything, your powerful strikes can take them down easy!
Coach L: Hi there! I'm Coach L, and I use she/her! I'm a total extrovert, so if you call us I'm usually the one who picks up the phone! My partner's the Roserade I've had since I was a teenager, and my favorite battle strategy is to drain my opponent's health with Toxic and Leech Seed while I pull out all the stops to keep them from hitting back!
Coach M: Oh, it's to me now? Hello! I'm Coach M, he/him, and it's all about Abilities! Whether a Pokémon powers up in weather or has extra defenses, understanding the ins and outs of its species is vital to knowing the right strategy to use! I'm a bit of a collector myself, so I can't stick to just one the way everyone else does! And, of course, I'm a happy husband to Coach V!
Coach S: Hello, everyone. It's a pleasure to meet you all. You may know me as Coach S, and refer to me with either he/him or she/her pronouns. Much of what I handle for our organization involves getting the word out about us, but I am just as strong as any of the rest of us. My strongest Pokémon is my Castform, and I believe that adaptability in battle and an understanding of what sacrifices are appropriate is the only way to guarantee success.
Coach V: Hello there! I'm your Coach V, and I'm thrilled to make your acquaintance! My pronouns are she/her, and, as Coach M said, the two of us are married, so you'll likely meet both of us if you choose to work with one. My most powerful Pokémon is my Milotic, and I find that shutting down your opponent's actions in battle, through beauty or otherwise, is a wonderful way to bring yourself to victory.

At the moment, this is a no stakes ask-focused blog, and it'll stay that way for a good while. Later down the line, it'll get involved with some serious and plot focused stuff, but there'll be a warning before that happens so you can drop your follow if that's not your thing.
Mun is an adult, as are all muses.
