Welcome to the CODEBOOK REVIEW, nameless traveler.

CODEBOOK SPECTRUM is an East Coast-based musical collective who make rock music, electronic music, and music that rides the fence between. On “The Codebook Review” the band’s “resident philosopher” Nonamai Shamoon will represent CODEBOOK SPECTRUM’s perspective in a manner elliptical to that representation made by their music. This will be a place for CODEBOOK SPECTRUM to share reviews and analysis of albums, films, books, and maybe even a video game or two, and to parse the creative methodology and outlook at work within CODEBOOK SPECTRUM’s musical output. 

The core aim of this blog is the same as that as any artistic criticism, with the caveat that these criticisms shall, taken together, embody something approximating a manifesto underpinning CODEBOOK SPECTRUM’s musical efforts. Every critic is an artist and every artist is a critic, and here the critical side of CODEBOOK SPECTRUM, a musical group, will find itself amplified, perhaps uncommonly.
