Y'all ever think about how children's media is the only media to really put priority to friendship (ex: the power of friendship) and how once you grow up media starts to shift towards a focus on romantic love and sexual relationships and how that kind of puts out this idea that valuing friendship is a childish thing you need to grow out of and replace with romance and sex cause I do.

i am so tired of queer experiences being reduced to oppression, mental health issues, isolation, and bad things in general. I want yall to flood my inbox with stories where you had a queer experience and it was good. 

you and your girlfriend’s first date, your first major haircut, the first time you made another gay friend, when a family member was accepting, when you first realized you were queer, i don’t care. i want to hear about happy experiences from queer people or from straight people about a time they saw their queer friend being happy or accepted or something. we’re spreading positivity this month, bitches! reblog this so others can see if you feel like it and send me a sentence or two!

So, earlier I-one of me, at least- posted something about, "I feel like I can't handle anything in life, with drugs or without", and I think that maybe it was good that it didn't post due to WiFi issues.

*Shrug*

We keep missing/postponing our meetings. Executive function is low, and depression is high. We're not able to sleep very well, or we haven't slept very well, lately.

So...

I organised a quick little system meeting, had a little "hoo-rah" session, and channeled it best I could to give individual love to those of us who are, quite frankly, burnt out. Being in the body can feel like a chore sometimes, and I want it to feel like fun again. For the first time, maybe.

Depression is HARD, y'all.

It's nothing to scoff at, especially when coupled with a big helping of dysphoria. We've all got our own stuff to deal with, and I just wanted to say I appreciate our roommate for making an effort to connect (he saw that we had been struggling with mental health, recently), and ..that means a lot. Thank you also to our therapist, who went above and beyond to reschedule (even though we still missed our appointment) :/. I don't like to give high or low functioning labels to people..lately I guess we've been what you might consider "high" functioning, though, it seems like every time that happens, a trigger will pop up, when things seem to be going well, and for whatever reason, trip us way the heck out.

Uhh I guess that's it?
