the idea that your friends won't like you if you're too weird is wrong for example one time I told a friend whenever I was losing my mind I laid down on the floor under my desk and stared at it until I was better and next time she visited me she taped a bag of salami snacks to the underside of my desk with a message saying "going insane all by yourself, handsome?" which I only saw months later when I had a breakdown. that's friendship.

ive come up with a lovely idea.
ok so lets say you throw a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuge house party at the end of highschool and so everyone obviously is like "hey is there gonna be booze???" and of course since it is a huuuuge house party you say "yeah obviously how would we have a party without booze! i already got a bunch and i can get some more so nobody has to bring any themselves" so everybady is like "ok cool dude" and so it is the day before the party and you get all of these liquor bottles together (there are hundreds of bottles, this is a huge party after all) and you somehow dispose of all the liqour and fill them up with other drinks and beverages that look like them (hoping these other people have never drank or are too stupid to know the difference) and you put them back in the places they were. it is the night of the party and everybody arrives and obviously immedietly goes t the booze because i mean obviously you said there were tons of booze, and everybody starts drinking them. people will probably start acting drunk assuming it was real liquor and basically everyone passes out for the night. once evryone wakes up you bring them into your backyard and calmly explain " dear all of you people, you are probably wondering why you dont have massive hangovers. well i replaced all of the liqour with everyday beverages and you were all stupid enough to thin k they were liqour based bevereages. you all acted drunk and made fools of yourselves. egg on your face. now leave please." your party will go down in history but not because it was super epic, but because you tricked everyone into acting like complete morons.
thank you for listening to my epic idea
*i bow as like three people cheer*

Is it common for Autistic/Adhd people to have auditory or visual hallucinations/ be extremely paranoid because of this (I experience both and tend to bolt when I see things out of the corner of my eye or back myself into the corner of my room and stare where I hallucinated movement.) my mom and family also experiences this and the whole house has adhd so maybe that’s to do with it? They think it’s normal but if I bring it up with friends they treat it as me making a sarcastic joke. So I’m starting to think that this isn’t normal.
this could also be because me, my sister, and my mom have terrible vision. Mine being the worst (I’m near sighted and can’t see things far away which might impact my hallucinations) the auditory hallucinations tend to be things I hear often/that day.
Hi there,
I can relate to this because I sometimes hear my moms voice calling me, even if she isn’t there. When I think of hallucinations I think of psychosis or schizophrenia. However, I did find some interesting information.
This article talks about hallucinations in people with ADHD. Here’s an excerpt:
An ASRS score indicating probable ADHD diagnosis was also significantly associated with psychosis. The link between higher ADHD symptoms and psychosis, paranoia and auditory hallucinations was significantly mediated by dysphoric mood, but not by use of amphetamine, cocaine or cannabis.
I’ll leave this article below so you can read it. It’s a really short article, so it shouldn’t take you long to finish.
I also found an article that goes over autism and hallucinations. Here’s an excerpt:
Do you ever hear a sound when there is nothing around to explain it? Or perhaps you have the feeling that someone is nearby when they’re not? Some people have a lot of these experiences. Others, hardly any. Certain mental health conditions, such as schizophrenia, can cause them, but unusual perceptions also happen in people who don’t have mental health problems. A new finding from my research group suggests that adults with autism are particularly likely to have these kinds of experiences.
In our study, adults with and without autism were presented with a list of unusual perceptions and asked to indicate how many they had experienced. Those with autism reported three times more of these unusual experiences than typical people. For example, we found that 63 percent of adults with autism answered yes to the question: “Do you ever feel that someone is touching you, but when you look, nobody is there?” compared with only 7 percent of typical adults. Similarly, 47 percent of adults on the spectrum answered yes to the question: “Do you ever see shapes, lights or colors even though there is nothing really there?” compared with 14 percent of typical adults.
I will also leave this article below so you can look into it if you’d like:
Last, but not least, I’m going to share some ven diagrams that show the similarities and differences between autism and schizophrenia.
The article will be below so you can read through it.
I hope these sources help. Thank you for the inbox. I hope you have a wonderful day/night. ❤️
