in 2018 you drew a few images of idw megatron meeting his sg self. thinking about idw megs being whelmed by the fact he's a math professor (& smol) always brings a smile to my face. your art is always delightful!

It's true!! I did draw that ahaha back when SG wasn't even that popular (afaik now it's pretty big but who knows... I'm not as online as I once was... *old man voice*)!

But I'm happy it makes you smile, IDW Megs would absolutely be so happy to know he got to be a professor somewhere in the universe. Although, maths... Truly an alternative universe...

This is hella random so apologies for that, but I recently "discovered" your blog through that really cute series of comics where D-16 and Orion meet all the different OP's and Megatron's and I couldn't help but feel like your art style was so damm familar to me. It kept scratching at my brain as I was scrolling but I just couldn't pin point it and it drove me nuts. Until I saw your humanformers shattered glass designs and went 'Wait a god damm minute'.

Lo and behold I was a huge fan of your art back in 2016-17 ish during my Metal Gear Solid phase. Your Snake designs did things to me, I swear.

My blog from back then is long gone and I had kept up with barely any social media for a while so, I guess what I really mean to say is: I'm so touched and happy to see you're still out there making art and I feel so damm blessed, that by some hell of a coincidence, one of my favourite artists from way back when, is now drawing artwork from my new hyperfixation!

MegOP Week 2025 dates and prompts have officially been announced!

Further rules and specifications will be posted closer to the event, but here's a quick run-down of how it works:

All content related to Megatron and Optimus Prime in a relationship is allowed, whether romantic, sexual, platonic, or familial.

Although the event/blog name is "megop," opmeg content is also allowed; there's no restrictions related to who's the top/bottom, dominant/submissive, etc.

This event is NSFW-friendly and dark content-friendly (so long as everything is tagged properly).

This event is OT3+/poly/multiship-friendly, as long as Megatron and Optimus are the primary characters/ship involved

All art forms are allowed, including but not limited to art, fic, podfic, AMVs, screencap edits/photomanipulation, crafts, and any other way you'd like to participate!

Only new submissions will be included in the event collection on AO3, Tumblr, etc. However, it's also okay to post something like a multichapter fic that isn't completed within the time limit of MegOP Week, so long as it's a brand-new piece that hasn't been previously uploaded before.

Also, if you're interested in getting hands-on with the event, this blog is still accepting applications for new mods both here on Tumblr and on other sites like Bluesky! See this link to apply.

Interest check for MegOP events this year

Hello everyone,

In 2023, because the Secret Solenoid and other fandom-wide winter exchanges hadn't been active for some time, this blog hosted a MegOP Exchange event of our own. The reasoning was that, since the "official" event wasn't happening, the MegOP blog could host our own MOP-specific gift exchange without jostling elbows with other exchange events going on at the time.

However, now that the Secret Solenoid is back in action, this blog is interested in checking two things:

Would this blog's followers still be interested in another MegOP Exchange event in the future, or should MegOP Week remain the only major event hosted here?

Would it be easiest to have the exchange event happen during wintertime alongside other secret santa-esque exchanges, or would the burden on writers/artists/etc be easier if the MegOP exchange was at a different time of year?
