not enough of a spotlight is shown on Ratthi and Gurathin in Fugitive Telemetry. SecUnit isn't allowed to hack government security systems so it invites its Two Best Guy Friends to come watch it break into a transport ship, AND BOTH OF THEM ARE LIKE "sure thing, sounds fun" ?? They put up the weakest "are you sure this is a good idea?" argument but otherwise just do what SecUnit needs (which is stand in front of security cameras and act as character witnesses). SecUnit's narration also implies that it would have just let its Two Best Guy Friends tag along for the rest of its murder investigation, for funsies, except the cops said no (booooo).

later THE SAME DAY, SecUnit (famously allergic to asking for help) messages their group chat "I need help" with ZERO context, which gives Ratthi and Gurathin such a shock they almost knock their table over. then it facetimes them from the NATIONAL HISTORY MUSEUM to ask which of these Preserved Artifacts works best for jetting out into space? and Ratthi and Gurathin are like, "that one with the red tags, but ummm why?"

"don't worry about it," it says, "I'll tell you later."

then it HANGS UP and they don't hear from it for the rest of the day.

superman - why is even the dog cgi. I’m a hater I guess I don’t really like big battle cgi action flicks anymore. i hadn’t seen a superman movie with a group of friends and tons of snacks in our beautiful historic movie theater since like 2013 though, so that part was nice!

miami blues - as one reviewer noted it’s like heat if the cop and the thief were both bad at their jobs. a good looking film, miami in the late 80s!! a guy gets his eyebrow sewn back on at one point. 💯

inception - every year we celebrate inceptiversary. bwaaaaaahhhh bwaahhhh bwwwaaahhh

and i do think that mercymorn rly is tazmuir's character work at its finest... literally the perfect woman who is an absolute raw nerve and is both unwilling to and incapable of making herself likable. she also is recklessly suicidal and has subsisted solely on spite and the idea that one day she might be able to get revenge for something that happened a hundred lifetimes ago. her father is her husband is her god and she is forever condemned to be the bitch wife AND she is in a diabolical situationship with her brother who used to be a regular coworker. cold and virginal but fucks. unfathomably old but looks no older than ianthe. forced to eat a nun. forced to play big sister to another nun. i love you alive girlllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
