Short answer: Yes

Long answer: Yes but it’s more complicated than that.

I can divide their personalities towards leadership in three groups: The leaders, the “I don’t mind as long as we avoid problems” and “I don’t like to follow orders from you”

Sky in my AU is the oldest, then Wars, wild and Time. Sky doesn’t mind to follow Wars, he was a knight too and he respects that Wars have a higher rank than him (and to be honest he doesn’t want that pressure over him) Wild wouldn’t care in other situation to have him as a leader but in this situation their personalities will cause some issues between them.

Now the other potential leader is… Legend, he doesn’t want to be the leader, because he is tired, but he sees himself as someone more capable and experienced than the others and that could lead to act as the head of the group in many situations.

Legend has the spirit of leadership, but not the willingness to take that role.

Wild does not have the spirit of leadership but has the urgency to be the one that directs the group in order to accomplish his own needs.

Wars has the experience, the spirit of leadership and it’s exactly what he has been doing for the past years in his military career, he is used to being the leader of big groups of soldiers and he takes that role without thinking about it, it’s natural for him.

And we also have Time, he has a more emotional outlook and paternal attitude towards the youngest members of the group and he won’t hesitate to speak up and confront if something seems very dangerous for them.

I know that there was a cancelled oracle game buuut to be honest, in my case for my story I won’t be taking that one as relevant but it sounds like a really interesting idea tho! a good chance to make a bond between him and wild.

It’s just a personal preference to stay in the “canon” or released content (at least to build their characters) My best friend always teases me for that but I just can’t help ittt.

Hey. I've got a few questions about Heroes Paradox and your art stuff.....

Im very slowly working on my own Links Meet AU and Im slowly working on my lineup for them, character design, etc.

Since you are (Im so serious) one of the BEST artists I know, do you have any advice for designs and/or how to really do a lineup? I'm fairly new (AKA very new) at art (Although Im a fairly good artist, actually) and I don't know a lot with Tumblr posting, art making etc.

If you don't mind, what advice or anything else would you give?

NOW ANSWERING THE CORRECT ASK

Aww tysm! I feel honored haha.

Well it really depends, most people forget that the character design really depends on the kind of media your story develops. For example, if you have a 3D model you can go wild, be detailed, have a lot of unnecessary but pleasant trinkets like this examples, genshin the patient zero of overly detailed and complex characters and good of war.

you can be as detailed as you want because you don’t need to draw them over and over and over again! but when you are designing characters for comics or cartoons you need to keep it simple.

For example, kishimoto originally designed Naruto to be always wearing those glasses, but he thought it would be too much effort to draw them everytime and he came up with the idea of the ninja bands to get rid of Naruto's goggles.

Because if you are drawing something over and over again you want to keep it as simple as possible.

That also includes the color palettes It’s hard to balance the “I don’t want to add to much detail but I don’t what to make it that complex”

For that I recommend play with the values of one color, like my ravio design it’s basically only purple, blue, yellow and green lol but just using different values.

Also something really important is trying to express what they are in their design for example I had to struggle a lot to make them different designs because Link looks almost the same every time lol but I tried to emphasize the things that make them different from each others

For example the “traveler loner” for time and Knight, captain vibe for Wars. (I tried)

Hey, I'm just wondering do you have a favorite Legend of Zelda character besides Link?

YES YES I HAVE, THANKS FOR ASKING. /INHALES I really, really, really, really like Revali, not just because I'm that guy who likes the character everyone else hates, lol, but because I realized how the English (and spanish too) translation completely destroys his character and makes him just an arrogant, mean an annoying bird when that Is not the case in his original dialogues. Once I read the correct translations I realized that his character is much more than that and I kinda related to him. A frustrated teenager whose insecurity turned him into a proud Rito trying to protect himself. I could yap about Revali but overall I think he is a very interesting character and makes me kinda sad that in tears of the kingdom he got NOTHING, anyway the only good thing is that all his merch and stuff is cheaper because everyone else hates him.

I can finally answer this, the last silly comic (this one) comes from this specific ask haha, the nickname comes from them teasing Legend lol, It's only a Joke, sadly bunny Legend won't be with us in physical form just in our hearts. And thank you so much <3

Hi !!!!! :D Motivation to draw a fully painted illustration randomly came to me today so I spent all day on it XD I missed making illustrations like this ! I wanted to give it my all for this one and now I'm exhausted XD

I know I doodled very few requests, sorry :') I haven't been motivated to draw these past few days. I think part of the reason I couldn't draw is because I just finished my art projects that I've been working on for months and yeah I'm pretty much exhausted. I think I need time to adjust and when I feel I can do it, I'll draw more requests !

Will the boys learn about their connection to each other? I mean, will Time realize that he fought alongside Warriors ? Or will Twilight recognize Time as the Hero’s shade? And all the ancestors/descendents relation between tham!!!

ohh boi, you will see, andd I just want to clarify, even though I really like the idea of time and wind meeting wars before (trust me I really do) my wars did not meet them, he only met the side characters of the respective games, I decided to do it in that way to make it a little bit more fun, that is why it took him so long to realize what was going on, lol.

Do you know how many links are going to be in heroes paradox?

I have art inspiration from the 12 links then saw mystic, shadow and Ravio and realised I have no idea how many squares I need on my canvas

At first my plan was to have only 12 Links but then I played eow and turned into 13 Links, Ravio isn’t with the others and shadow… well he goes in the same “four pouch” haha, so basically 13! Hope it helps 🫶

I noticed that you added Echoes of Wisdom Link to the lineup of Links on your pinned post.

First of all, I just wanna say that I love his design. I especially love the way you designed his cloak. Second of all, do you have any lore/info about him that you can share? Do you have any nicknames for him? And is there a lore reason for his eyes being purple, or is that just a design choice?

I WAS PLANNING TO INTRODUCE HIM IN THIS UPDATE BUT i just ran out of time whoops, I added him as an easter egg but im too impatient to wait for the next update to tell u about him.

When I started my AU I hadn’t played EOW yet but I finished the game in January so… I really wanted to add him to the chain, after all my au was born after the idea of what if every link meets? Without him this would be incomplete.

His eyes are a side effect of spending a lot of time in the rifts, so looking at his eyes is like looking at the void.
