Sabrina smiled back at her twin. “Hey Bastian, did you have a good flight ?” She hugged him happy to get her brother back even if things turns out complicated. He hadn’t changed much, maybe he was more muscular and tanned but his work and the sunny country where his base was could explain that. “You look good, this tan suits you. Would you like to… oww.”
A harsh kick in her womb cut her in the middle of her sentence, just like his father that baby couldn’t support when he wasn’t the center of the attention.

“Don’t even think about involving the police” Sebastian snapped angrily, why not just leave him in peace? Why anyone would stick around for this long was beyond him, he just needed the woman to leave so that he could rest and recover.
“Just leave some painkillers and I will be fine” he said after a moment, she wasn’t going to leave, he could tell that “I got myself into a spot of trouble but I can take care of the injuries.”

“Ugh,” letting out a frustrated groan, Mina seriously thought about listening to this man’s wishes and leaving him to bleed out, or starve, or rot–or whatever the hell else he might be trying to do in the solitude of this abandoned building. Crossing her arms over he chest, while simultaneously stomping her right foot to the ground in protest, she sighed loudly. Fine, she thought, if he really doesn’t want my help then I can’t force it, it’s his choice to be left alone and in pain.
“Look…” she piped up again, giving it one last go. “If you at least tell me what injuries you have I can leave something here for you. Otherwise, I’ll call the cops and report an accident. Something tells me you’re not the kind of person who wants police involvement right now…” she huffed, taking a few more steps into the darkness. Mina wondered if she should have thought twice before making the threat, but she was getting impatient and this person seemed even more stubborn than she was. Inhaling deeply, she noticed a scent that she couldn’t quite place, but it was potent and very familiar.
