Surya Bonaly was the ONLY Black girl in the ice skating world to PURPOSELY do an illegal move at the Olympics that to this day NOBODY can do except for her: a backflip, with a split being done in midair, and…landing on ONE foot. Mama was on some Street Fighter Chun Li shit.
The illegal move was done as a “fuck you” to the judges for the harsh racism and sexism she received…and after her performance she turned her backs to them, being forever banned from the Olympics.
