『♡』 “Oh darling! Klaus is going to be spending the weekend with little Maria’s family, so we have the entire weekend to ourselves. Was there anything you wanted to do since we have some free time now?” 

Prior to Klaus staying over; Sergei had to make sure Klaus had everything he needed, along with making sure it was alright with Maria’s parents for him to stay over. Luckily they had gotten the approval. After him and Charlotte had gotten home, the Russian went straight to work on any important paperwork he needed to get done.

Sergei’s hand came up to stroke his chin in thought, until he snapped out of his thoughts when he heard his wife’s voice. Turning around in his chair, his blue eyes gaze over at her with a smile.

‘I did have one particular thing in mind that we can do.’ He begins, getting up from his seat to approach her. Once he was close enough, the Russian’s arms pull her close to him. ‘It involves you, me, and the little death.’

25. What habits/tics do you have? Do you annoy people with them?

‘The only thing I can think of that would annoy others would be the hand gestures I make when communicating in sign language. I’m not sure if any of the other fighters know sign language... so it can be bothersome towards others if they don’t know what I’m saying.’

39. What brings you nostalgia? Why?

‘Sitting by the fireplace on a cold, winter night. It reminds me of when my mother would stay up late just to watch the fire and enjoy its warmth. I would often accompany her and sometimes fall asleep in her arms. I miss her, and I hope her and my father are doing well..”

The witch was caught completely off guard by the other pulling her into a hug, forehead against his shoulder as she nervously stared at the ground. Her heart twinged a bit. But why..? Shaking it off for now, she responded to his words, seemingly surprised.

“Would..you really be Maria’s friend..?”

“Da. Better to have at least one other human being as a friend than have nothing at all, right?”

The boy looked down at the witch with a small smile, giving her a small reassuring pat on the back. His parents did suggest that he should make some friends, and where better to start than with a girl like Maria? Despite the fact that he disliked being around other humans than his parents... she would be someone he can possibly get along with.

Aside from his words, Klaus pulls Maria into a gentle hug. He wasn’t one for physical contact - but he couldn’t leave the poor girl looking so sad.
