Nosso projeto, “Pavilhão Maker: recuperação e transformação de edifício histórico em campus universitário”, recebeu o prêmio de 2o lugar no concurso Desafios do Patrimônio Cultural / categoria obra construída, promovido pelos CAU/PE - Conselho de Arquitetura e Urbanismo de Pernambuco, CAU/MG - Conselho de Arquitetura e Urbanismo de Minas Gerais e CAU/BA - Conselho de Arquitetura e Urbanismo da Bahia.

We are super happy for having our work recognized in such an important competition!

Our project “Maker Pavilion: rehabilitation and transformation of a historic building in a college campus” was awarded 2nd place in the competition Challenges of Cultural Heritage / built work category, sponsored by the Architect’s Council of Brasil, Pernambuco, Bahia and Minas Gerais chapters.

To design a home for a new engineering company, we explored its branding, versatile and creative approach. ⠀⠀

Would you hoop with me? Come along and join the new hoop craze. A speaker-like metal post device powered by hoop-shaped solar panels, the Hoop-fier holds LED-filled hoops and blasts music in the city, solo or in clusters. Once the hoop is off the Hoop-fier, a sensor inside it will activate songs via the Hoop-fi app. You can pick the songs to be played or just let your body activate them randomly by your amazing moves. The faster you move the faster the beat. By using the Hoop-fi app from your mobile, tablet or desktop, you can share your dance moves and your music through Hoop-fiers spread all over the city. Bump into a Hoop-fier in your neighborhood or find it from your device. Load your favorite track or select one on the spot. Grab a hoop and let your body move. All tribes, rhythms and hoop-less moves included. Engage, become a hooper and let’s hoop-fi the city together. Say good-bye to boring public spaces or conventional dancing spots. Hoop-fiers can help groovy humans take over sidewalks, squares, parks, schoolyards, rooftops, clubs, concerts, or just about any city space. Not your regular office / Nada daquele escritório de sempre

A communal work station is the center piece in this office we designed. The use of wood and cementitious wall surfaces contrast with marble flooring and large glass sliding doors.

Uma mesa de trabalho é a peça central nesse escritório que projetamos. O uso da madeira no forro e parede, junto com acabamentos cimentados, contrastam com o piso em mármore e portas de correr em vidro de dimensões generosas.

Super happy to be featured on @archdaily Brasil today with our awarded entry for the Modern Collective Living Challenge competition by #beebreedersarchitecturecompetitions. We’re also proud to be the only Latin American team to receive an award in such a cool competition that deals with a very important problem, the housing crisis around the Globe, particularly in China.

Anjo Solto ZN Restaurant: Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Anjo Solto gains a new home. Our main intent was to take advantage of some of the modernist components of the building still in relatively good shape - bi-partite façade and its glazed perforated tiles, cast iron bars and windows and doors - which we mostly restored, blending these with clearly contemporary features. The aim was to attenuate the limits that often separate interior and building design, seeking integrity between these two by using colors and materials that symbiotically conform a timeless ambience. We particularly valued the joints between different materials and transitions from old to new, which we believe helps sustaining a remarkable spatial experience.

Gateways to Chinatown: Competition entry, Nyc. Portais de Chinatown: proposta concurso, Nyc. 

The ribbon represents a continuous flow, a lightweight backlit fiberglass body that is pure energy. Like in the traditional Chinese dance, it swirls, rises upward and returns to the ground bringing movement and connection to the site, a public space lacking identity.

A fita representa um fluxo contínuo, um corpo leve e iluminado em fibra de vidro que é pura energia. Como na tradicional dança chinesa, a fita rodopia, ergue-se e retorna ao solo, levando movimento e conexão ao sítio, um espaço público, hoje sem identidade definida.

Office space for an innovative real estate developing company / Escritórios para empresa inovadora do setor imobiliário This office combines a young hip vibe expressed in cool reclaimed wood panels with the classic feel of Carrara marble flooring. A space that's all about sharing and making business a fun down to earth experience features a communal wood and steel table with classic modern chairs.
