NEW SHELLSHOCKED AU, CHAPTER ONE!!

What a beautiful night in the city of New York. street lights are flashing above the dim parts of the city, as the moon helps illuminate everything and everyone. But what's this? Finally, a boy named Michealangelo hamato is, yet again, on the streets alone. after a year, Mikey couldn't take it anymore. this hero stuff was just.. exhausting. so much was expected from him.. especially during the whole shredder situation. What could he had done? he couldn't just tell his brothers that he didn't want to be a hero, if that, what could he had done?.. there was no one to speak to.. but.. April.

unfortunately, after conversing with her, she'd express her disapproval in a polite manner, causing Mikey to speed off, and ran away.. after lurking in the darkness for a bit, he retreats to the hidden city, desperate for a brand new start. soon, he finds draxums lab and takes a look.. to his demise, the mutant is caught by draxums gargoyles, huginn and muninn.. and then by draxum. the boy explains his situation, and out of sheer pity draxum let's him stay. on.. a few conditions though.

meanwhile, a boy named miles is wandering around the dark exterior of the night; swinging rooftop to rooftop. by one small misstep; miles falls into a trash-bin an extremely rough crash ensues..

he finds himself in an odd world, mutants and yokai never seen were all around. they all stared and glanced; soon, a bounty was placed on him.

word spread; and there was a hunt.

fortunately he is pulled by a boy in an orange hoodie, and led to his room..

it was Mikey. he'd promise to keep him safe until this whole thing overblown; but draxum must not know.

The boys soon start feeling for one another, but, such a relationship couldn't be considered normal.

..after getting back onto the surface, they part ways, or so miles thought.

with a cloacking broach; Mikey is able to disguise himself..

CHAPTER ONE:

A   new  path

   Drops of cold rain hit the pavement;. Allowing the moon's reflection to bounce straight off of it. It was a peaceful night in the city of New York, by the time, it was about midnight. All Mikey could do was lie awake in bed;

staring at the ceiling. His fingers glide across one another occasionally; as they'd glance at the clock, time and time again. Suddenly a buzz came from his phone, finally allowing Mikey to take his eyes off of their placement.

Micheal turned and shifted; switching his Device on. The text was from his friend, April.

The text read;

'Mikey, I know you're awake! What's wrong. You can tell me. I'm worried for you.

-April.

  Mikey would inhale sharply before getting up from his bed, and grabbing a bag. They'd stuff their valuables inside, anything really. Art supply, a notebook, a sketchpad, before she paused.

A family picture. Hesitant; she'd shove it inside.

  They'd grab a hoodie nearby and put it on, a mask too. In a hurry, they grabbed a peice of paper and a marker, writing a quick note before finally; taking his leave..

As they'd travel through the sewers; he'd realize most lights were off. snoring came from leons room, it took him a bit to finally move himself out of the sewer.

As soon as they left, a wave a guilt hit almost instantly.

But this would end Mikey's constant worry, right?

They'd bite their lip before running away; into the darkness... Then.. where would he go? A chill runs up his spine as the sound of rats scurrying along the sidewalk filled the air, mikey flinched, but kept going.. all the way to April's house..

   Without warning, she'd knock on aprils window, praying that her parents were away. To Angelo's delight; the window was pried open by April Herself.

The two made eye contact for a split second, only for April to immediately notice something was wrong.

"..Mikey, what are you doing here. It's late-- what's wrong!" The girl let Mikey in, Since it was practically pouring.

"..I want to talk. To you! Not my brothers, you have to PROMISE me that you won't say a word." Mikey held April's hands tightly, putting all of their trust into her. The human hesitated before examining him.. "..Mikey, did you run away--" "No!-.. yes.. l- look just promise me.."

"...Mikey.." April's grip tightened on the others hands, feeling slight vibrations coming from him, "if you're running away.. I can't not say anything.." O'Neil froze before letting out a soft sigh, "your brothers need to know that you're okay."

".. April.." Mikey sobbed out, her eyes widened as she hushed the other, "mikey--.. alright, i- I promise!" April

Muttered, in an attempt to calm the other down.

  It took Mikey a moment or two to catch his breath but soon, he'd explain,

"I can't do this anymore, April. Im not fit for this hero stuff i-.. I'm leaving, I don't know where I'm going, I'm just-- I'm going.." he'd cry, before April let go of him, "Mikey, you can't! There's no team without you! Talk to your brothers they can help you--" "-NO! You DONT understand. I have to help.. them! I-.. forget it, it's pointless.. you're the only one I trust." A smile was given to April, but instead, she frowned, knowing if this secret came out, Micheals heart would be shattered into a million pieces.

"Wait, Mikey!--" April shouted, before he sped off. She'd lean from the balcony, letting out a worried whimper. "..Hes insane!" April took her phone out before pausing..

This was.. his choice.

She held the phone tightly, shaking a bit. She couldn't force him into the team, to be miserable..

Maybe..

She should see how this plays out.

FINAL BITTW CHAPTER!

Micheals camera would flash to static, as a muffled crash came from the other end. "MICHEAL-!" Leon screamed, before heavy breathing came from their end. Nothing could be seen or heard, only muffled noises. The group were set on a full blown panic..

   Micheal picked his head up, blood dropping from a small cut. "A Peasant like you had the audacity to come back?" The kraang growled, grabbing Micheal by the neck. He'd squirm before speaking, "Look, how about we have a-- a nice discussion about--T-THIS!" The mutant strained as the kraang squeezed him, Micheal yelped, attempting to grab his weapon. He was suddenly thrown down to the rock hard surface below him, soon to use this as an opportunity to back away. Everything was spinning, he'd struggle to stand.

"You're just as pathetic as your brother.."

  "He's not pathetic.. be sensible about this!" Micheal argued, though, it was foolish to reason with a monster like the kraang. Mikey drew his weapons and sighed,

"What a rare misstep.." "im-- I'm not scared of you. I don't care if I die here, just knowing you're still tucked away where you belong brings me eternal joy..," the boy spoke, a slight flash of light coming from his hands.

"Till death do you part, hm?"

"...Always."

"What do we do!?" Casey asked, everyone in the lair was concerned, worried, and incredibly nervous. "I don't see or hear anything!" Donnie typed away on his computer. In the middle of this heated debate, Mikey snuck away.

The mutant paced around the room, "what do I do, what do I do.." he'd strain..,

"..Portals... Portals! Oh, thank sensei Angelo.." Mikey let out a soft sigh, intertwining his fingers. "..but- how do I . Where do I even start!?" Mikey's smile was replaced by a frown, "despite everything he taught, I'm still a starter! Do I say a certain phrase? Oh, I hate this mystic nimbo!" They'd storm around, telling with complete and utter frustration. Mikey would soon calm himself down, being upset wouldn't solve anything. The mutant relaxed himself, pressing his shell against a wall.. he'd figure this out, even if it took all the time Micheal had left.. maybe he was okay..?

The boy held his hands out, putting all of his energy and thought into this. Everything came to Mikey, sensei Angelo, his family, the disappointment Micheals brothers would feel, everything!

Micheal screamed pain as he was shoved into the ground, a sharp pain shooting through his entire body. He'd gotten a few good hits on the kraang; though, The creature had pinned him down. With it's claws on his plastron, it'd observe Mikey. He was bruised, horribly at that.. they looked just like Leo during the battle. The kraang placed his foot on Micheals chest, using his claw to grab at Micheals arm. He'd try to release himself from the others grip, but failed miserably.

"Do you really think you can escape me? Even defeat me?" He'd tug at Micheals arm as he screamed in pain, "N-NO!" Micheal shouted, just before something.. snapped. Everything went dark as Mikey inhaled sharply. The kranng dropped the other as he'd regain his thoughts..

Blood trickled from Micheals wound and onto the ground.. hesitantly, the mutant looked over to the numbing area, only to see his arm.. misisng. His stomach churned as he went pale, tears began to build in his eyes.

"I never knew you mutants could be so.. fragile."

The monster reinstated, throwing his lost limb onto the ground below. At this point, Micheal felt weak. He'd fall back, as his breathing quickened. Whilst the kraang approached him,

He'd tense up as his life almost flashed before his eyes. Suddenly, static came from the other end.

"Micheal? Micheal!" Donnie and raph shouted through the speaker collectively.

"Are you okay? Can you hear us?"

Micheal would bring his wrist up to his mouth, speaking softly, "I.. I hear you.. listen, you-- you guys.." Micheal paused, attempting to back away. "..I don't think I'll make it this time--.." "What are you talking about?" Raph shouted through tears, before the mutant paused. "This was the dumbest idea I've ever had, huh?.. just.. make sure Mikey gets homme safe,alright?"

Micheals ignored the yells from tbe other send of the speaker,he ripped it off of his wrist and threw it off of the small, floating peice of land.

'this is gonna hurt..' Micheal winced, before a loud crashed stopped both the kraang and Micheal. A shockwave traveled across the prision dimension. When Micheal looked up, she'd spot a.. green portal forming. At first, they were just small cracks, but soon, it grew wider

Micheal smiled, gaining an ounce of hope. Without a moment too soon, she sat up and speak up, despite the burning sensation in one side of Micheals arm. She heard a devastating screech, assuming the kraang had finally noticed. Micheal rushed towards the Portal , struggling to maintain balance. They'd kept spinning and swerving, due to the light weight that his body wasn't used to feeling. As Micheal inched closer, the kraang did to..

Raph stormed out of donnies labs, muttering with worry. Their thoughts were cut off as soon as they saw Mikey, forming.. a portal. "MIKEY!" the snapper yelled, easily caught off guard. "How'd you-- what are you-" "helping, raph! I'm helping you guys! Luckily; sensei didn't just teach me how to be bitter,," the other laughed before Raph smiled; there was hope!" "Cmon' lil guy, you can do this!" He'd smile, placing a hand on Mikey's shoulders. Soon, Leo and Donnie entered the room, and to their surprise, the two were managing just fine on their own. Once the portal was mostly formed, he struggled to keep it open.. with loved ones to cheer him in, Mikey finally forced the Portal open, wide enough so the could actually see through the prision dimension. Raph reached out for Michaels hand, their fingers grazing one another before fully touching. Raph pulled him through, right after seeing the kraang jump towards him. Raph gasped, using all his strength to pummel through. Finally, Micheal made his way through the portal, colapsing to the ground. His brothers came running after him with worry, he was lightheaded and had extreme amount of blood lost...

Once more, right before the kraang could make its way through, the portal was shut by Mikey. Mikey fell back onto the floor, breathing heavily.

"..s- sensei!" The boy rushed towards him, "are you okay?"

"Really, Mikey?" Micheal furrowed his brows before groaning. Despite being horribly injured, they still had their loving personality.

"...lets get you healed." Donnie sotly lifted the other, before, all of a sudden, another portal was formed..

The group paused, looking towards it..

".. Not this portal bizz again-.." Mikey sighed, but something drew him to it.. "what the.." Raphael spoke, approaching Mikey.

"...looks familiar.." Mikey put his head down. Before widening his eyes, "..Don'-.. is this--" "..Home, Mikey." Raph Gave him a reassuring smile.. "..yeah, but how, i--" "does it matter how? You've been through enough, it's time fore you to go!"

"..what about Micheal?"

"I'll be fine!" The ornate turtle held a thumbs up but soon winced In pain..

Mikey sighed, puttitng a hand through the portal..

".. thanks for everything, sensei."

With said, Mikey made his way through the portal, praying that this wasn't another mistake...

When Mikey opened his eyes, all he could be seen was a barn house. It was cold, damp, and quiet. "Er-- hello?"

Mikey wandered throughout the place, before familiar voices echoed through the hall. When. Mikey turned the corner, he was face to face with his brothers.. they stared at one another before the three collectively shouted, "MIKEY!"

"holy-- it must've worked!" Donnie smiled, pulling Mikey into a tight hug. "It's so good to see you dudes again!" Mikey chirped, his brothers were almost In Tears! Even Raph!

The others began showering him with questions, but the one that caught his attention was, 'where were you!?"

Mikey grinned, facing Leo.

"I have the best story to tell! From the top!"

"...Here we go again."

BITTW CHAPTER 30

Micheal stormed into his room just after the previous events.

'If they can do it why can't I, I'm not a baby..'

He'd utter under his breath, making another portal couldn't be that hard.. they'd take their hands up to view before glaring at them, small but fond memories of the whole kraang incident came to mind.. he'd tense up as tears pricked the corner of his eyes, the cracks were still there.. they never really seemed to fade, like Leo or raphs wounds. Leo survived with a few broken limbs and wounds, as for raph, he'd loose an eye. Donnie on the other hand became a bit more considerate all of the sudden, as for Micheal?

  Everything seemed perfectly fine for him, but that just wasn't the case. He could barely do anything anymore, so much that he felt useless. But Micheal felt as if the others problems were more important.

She'd close her eyes as tears rolled down her cheeks, using everything he could to somehow, even think about what Mikey's universe could look like..

Mikey sat in donnies lab, he decided to run some test on him before setting him free.. Mikey would listen to the others talk, Leo laughing with Raph and draxum, and more. A smile showed on his face, but, why couldn't his family be this way?

"So..." A voice would interrupt the moment, Mikey turned to Donnie. "Enough with this anonymous silence.. how was I in the future?" Donatello raised a brow, causing Mikey to smile. "Aw man, you were awesome! Like my uncle or whatever!" Said the boy, "Go on, go on-- wait, uncle figure?" Donnies eyes lit up, "yeah, I got caught up in science, machines, they were weird! The good kind, like your kind of weird. I even got these goggles from you when you--" he'd pause, raising donnies suspicions, "when I..?" He continued.. "when-- when you died.. I- it was some time ago!.. for some reason you wanted to die. Everyone was lost-- even big mama, she was an aunt to me, we were a family! Each and every one of us-- she even made me this sweet skirt!"

Silence ensured shortly after before Mikey spoke once more, "Donnie.. did you-- make the key. For the whole kraang thing?" Donnie lifted his head, looking into Mikey's eyes sternly. "..I- i Won't tell I'm just curious! Your secrets safe with me y'know."

"..that's really-- nice, Mike'." Donnie paused and began writing something down on a piece of paper hung on a clip board. A loud crash interrupted the moment, coming from Micheals room. Mikey and Donnie turned theirs heads to the direction of the source of the noise.

"Did that come from..--"

Suddenly, Mikey was cut off by Donnie shooting up from his seat and rushing towards his room. Donnie must've been very.. agile?

Mikey stood and followed Donatello, turning the corner.

  "MICHEAL WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!?" Donnie shouted, as Mikey finally reached his destination. A yellow portal flashed Infront of Micheal, yellow cracks covered the exterior of his body, they were in serious pain, but kept doing It. By then, the portal was nearly formed.

Micheal looked back at Donnie and Mikey as the cracks had reached neck level, his eyes widened as his mouth hung open, but it was too late.

   A loud bang interrupted the moment, following along with a flash of light..

Both Donnie and Mikey flinched, but after that, nothing.. once they looked up, Mikey was gone..

Only a portal remained..

"..w- where.."

Mikey muttered as Donnie fell back. "Micheal.. MICHEAL!" Donnie called, just as Leo and raph entered the room. Casey and April followed shortly after, almost everyone. They showered Donnie with questions, but they'd only respond with phrases like, "They're gone, Micheals gone, he's not coming back" the purple ninja shoved past his family whilst raph tried calm the frantic ninja down.

Once the room was empty, Mikey's head whipped towards the shrinking portal. Hesitantly, they'd reach their shaky hand through it.. it was warm.. suddenly he was hit by a wave of sudden memories. Immediately, they boy pulled away..

"...Home?"

The other uttered..

This was his chance, his only chance to finally put this all to an end..

But..

He couldn't.

Where was Michael, he needed to know. He wanted to help. Mikey shook his head, turning away and running towards donnies lab. Comotion came from the area.

"Donnie, what are you doing you weirdo, where's Micheal!" Leo urged, as Casey frowned, "and what do you mean he's g-gone.." the human spoke. "What are you doing don, please, just tell us.." April demanded in a gentle tone of voice.

"I- I don't know where he is but I still have those trackers on you guys! A- and our--"

"The speakers!" Raph smiled, as the other nodded, praying that his little brother was alive..

"..there should also be an accessible camera, I updated it, see.." Donnie turned to a computer, typing his passcode in. This made Mikey chuckle dispite the dire situation. "..Bootyshaker9000..? Great name dude."

Donnie glared, causing Mikey to shut up.

A camera opened, in the top leftcorner it read, Michealangelo's angle. "Micheal? Michael, it's Donnie! Damn it, can you hear me.." Tears fell down Donnies cheeks as static came from the other end.. "MICHEAL!" He'd shout before a hand was placed on his shoulder, "Donnie.." raph spoke softly. "..H-- he can't be gone.. I just know he can't, why didn't he listen.." they boy huffed as tears fell. Silence endured before mumbling came from the camera, emerging into sobs. Their attention shifted onto the camera as Donnie gasped,

"M- Micheal?"

"Donnie-- Donnie, is- is that you?"

Donatello let out a relieved laugh, as the others sighed. Though they didn't know where he was, or make out anything he was saying.. there was hope.

"Micheal listen--" Raphael started, "where are you? Can you turn the camera on?" ,"..cam..camera? Yeah --" their voice sounded shaken, as if they were trying to be quiet, Chocking on tears in the process. The screen flashed to micheals view, it was dark, even with the camera turned towards him.. it looked like they were.. hiding?

"..Raph- Donnie.. I'm scared.." he uttered, tears fell down his cheeks as his voice cracked. Leon's eyes widened, "...Micheal. where are you."

The place looked familiar..

"..t- the prision dimension, I don't know how I got here... It's dark, and.. i- I heard whispering." Leon tensed up before urging, "Micheal, listen CLOSELY. Be quiet. Do NOT move, stay RIGHT there.." "I can't, the sounds getting closer i- I wanna go home!" "..do you have your weapons?" Leo asked, almost pushing Donnie out of the way. "Yeah-- I actually do.. Leo,-- the kraang, what if.."

"April, go tell dad and draxum what's happening." Raph said, as the girl nodded and ran off with Casey. "Leo, what's your plan."

"..To get Micheal out of there he CANT be in there. If the kraang finds him--" Leo was cut off by a crash coming from Micheals camera. Micheals eyes widened as he sat up, backing away. The sound only got closer.

"..Leo--guys, i-.." Micheal paused before hearing a bone chilling growl.

"..Micheal.. behind you.."

BITTW CHAPTER 29

"What is it? What the problem?" O'Neil asked, as Casey came running into the lair not too long after.

"Ah'! April, Jones', there you two are.. we've got another--.. Situation -" "You guys get into alot of situations." Said April, placing quotation marks around the word situation. "A- anyways, what is it?" Casey would change the topic.

"Dimension hopping.. time travel-ish. It's some of both." ".. That's surprisingly..not too bad." "-Right?" Donnie smiled before he spoke again, "This.. little time traveler looks like Mikey -- no-- he is Mikey!.. well, Micheal. Not sure' about his age or anything like that.. come, I'll show you to him."

   Donnie turned around to show the two to Mikey and the others, who were talking to one another around the skating ramp.

  "And then i--" "BROTHERS!" Donnie would shout, "and.. other Mikey." The mutant would clear their throat, whilst April and Casey crept up behind him, but, Casey was a bit hesitant..

"THATS other Mikey? Oh, he's just adorable!"

April would grab the boys hands, causing him to smile. "..Commander O'Neil." He'd mumble, before his smile dropped. April stared with confusion, "Thats.. me.. is-.. Donnie, I thought you said he was from another dimension!" "I also said time travel, so lay off!" "Well--" Mikey spoke, "I was in another dimension, my dimension, and then.. I ended up in this apocalyptic world? Assuming that was the future of-- well-- now.. and now I'm in the past. All of you were there! In the future-- except for raph. Sensei Angelo was like my father figure.."

"was I cool?" Micheal asked shyly, Casey didn't tell him much about his future self for.. personal reasons.

"Heck yeah! You made so many sacrifices for me-- for everyone! Though.. you weren't the best at communication, i-.. and--.." Mikey froze, the rather, negative thoughts about the future came flooding back..

"You okay?" Raph said, placing his hand on Mikey's shoulder. "Yeah, I just-- there's.. alot sensei Angelo did..  there's so much that Leo did.. Donnie.. Commander O'Neil." "well?" Leo smirked, "tell us about it!" "Wait so you-- were in the future too?" Casey Interrupted, approaching Mikey. Mikey turned around and paused, "case'--"..

The mutant cut himself off ..

He wouldn't remember.

If he did, he wouldn't be as hesitant and he would've known!

"Yeah.. yeah, I am. I'm assuming our futures times are quite different from one another." Michealangelo let out a nervous chuckle, he now seemed a bit.. upset.

"..When did you get stuck in the.. future?" April asked, putting her hands in her pockets.

"..I dunno, two years ago? I'm not a math guy dude." "Two years? How old are you?" Raphael asked, chuckling a bit. "Er-- seventeen. Kind of stopped counting."

The others stared at him in shock before Micheal spoke, "you're older than me!" "I mean-- yeah, but, in the future you were.. I dunno, thirty nineee..?" "Yeah yeah, enough about him, what about me? Was I still amazing? A hotshot? Stunning?" Leon would brag, an ever lasting grin on his face. "Guys!" A familiar voice echoed throughout the lair, Leo paused and inhaked sharply. It was his best friend, usagi!

The rabbit smiled as he came running in with a bag. "Look what i--.. oh- what the-- wrong timing?" He'd tilt his head as raph winced, sure, usagi was nice and all but.. he was a rabbit. "No, no! You're just in time!" Leon approached him with a smile of glee, he was always please when he saw usagi.

"In time? In time for what? And why am I seeing doubles." The rabbit asked, "For the drama of course! You're not gonna believe this, but we've got another Mikey! He was just telling me about my amazing, fabulous, all great future!" The slider bragged; while yuichi smiled.

"..You must be usagi-- wasn't really expecting to see you!" Mikey said, leaning on the wall. "Master Leonardo used to talk about you ALLLL of the time, I thought you guys were married or something! Hearing you blabber about him made me cringe.." Mikey went on and on, clearly not reading the room. "OKAY-! That's enough!" Leon screamed, as the rabbit laughed at his reaction. "Married? Leo? Really?" Donatello would tease as Leo groaned, "Change the subject!"

The others began showering mikey with different kind of questions, he'd try to answer all at once.

For some reason, Mikey wasn't too used to this kind of.. attention. Or, rather, anything.. he wanted sensei Angelo back..

Raphael noticed this change in attitude and spoke; "Guys, how about we give the little guy some time to rest?" Raph suggested, leading to Leo's exaggerated groan. Mikey gulped before turning around and strumming off, in an attempt to get further away from the others. They were to busy discussing, or rather arguing about Leo's behavior to notice.. all but Micheal. She'd follow Mikey behind to wherever, only to hear soft whines that soon emerged into sobs around the corner.

   The box turtle frowns, pressing his shell up against the wall which separated the two beings.. how should he approach the situation? Why was he crying in the first place?

"..Hey-- um.." Micheals voice echoed throughout the silent perimeter, causing Mikey's sobs to die down. Micheal turned the corner and looked down, Mikey sat down on the cold floor, tears streamed down his cheeks. "Are you okay--? You kind of--... That was random.." micheal uttered. Mikey looked up at the other, who sat next to him, willing to listen.

"Yeah, no-- dude, I'm fine I just don't like.. talking about Sensei--..pa--... you, too often--" "why not? I thought you said I was cool?" "Yeah I did, and I was telling the truth!.. it's just, you've done alot for others, rather than yourself-- and I just found it upsetting.. everything your future self told me-- everything that happened.."

"Well?" Micheal raised a brow, "what happened..?"

"..Sensei-- you cut your own leg off to save me, and risked your life MORE than once all for me! that wasn't too pleasing to think about! You didnt deserve any of it! You put yourself through so much pain, and-- so much more was expected from you, even after that! I wish I could've told him--.. you this sooner, but--.. gosh, this is stupid."

Mikey put on a sheepish smile, causing more tears to fall. "I should just-- shut up now, right?" "What-- no, I'm listening! Why are you so-- hesitant to tell me anything.." Micheal asked with a stern look,

"..I'm not used to.. doing this. Usually I'd solve other people problems.. not my own. Or even talk about it.." Said Mikey, as his eyes closed. "Hey, me too! We're the same.. maybe we can help each other.. Im going to get you home.. I don't care what the others say, I want to do this for you." Micheal jammed his finger into Mikey's plastron as he'd smile, fits of laughter followed after.

  Once it died down, a sigh came from Mikey.

"I just wish you treated yourself better, ya' know." Mikey said, staring into space. "..I'm in the process of that." The other smirks, "..What else did I do?"

"Hm?"

"In the future. What happened. I wanna know everything.."

Mikey gave a nervous laugh before they'd admit, "You'd let me ride on your back.. You'd keep me safe, happy-- you also made this sick bow for me!" "I did that?" Micheals eyes lit up, "yeah!" Mikey shouts, "I saw some video tapes of you and your brothers-- you with April and the whole make up session thing-- I was so jealous!" Mikey paused--.. Micheals smile faded as the upsetting atmosphere began setting in.

"Its hard to think of any.. Positive aspects of you-- not that you went a good person- you just.."

Mikey was at a lost for words, and Michael knew it. "You don't have to say anything, I understand.. and honestly, I can see myself doing such things.. now c'mon!" Micheal stood, a look of glee on his face. It gave mikey a warm feeling. "We've got some portal makin' to do!" He held his hand out, "don't leave me hangin'!"

Mikey smiled, taking Micheals hand and pulling him into a Tight hug. Micheal would then tense up.

"You're the best sensei ever.." Micheal let himself relax as a smile soon formed on his face.

The two suddenly heard an unfamiliar voice coming from where the others should've been.. they'd look at one another before peaking around the corner,

"And the other one?"

Draxum crossed his arms, shooting Leon a spiteful look. "Who the shell is that!?" Mikey screeched, as Micheal laughed at his fright. "Its draxum! Our-- other dad? Well.. I like to consider him as such. He's the best, of course April and I are the favorites. Let's go, he'll love you!"  "How do you know that?" "Because you're me, duh!"

Micheal grabbed Mikey by the bow and almost dragged him out to view. "Draxum!" Called the other, and Mikey covered his face. "There you are--..what is that." The yokai hissed. "It's other me!--" "Er-- draxum, it's -- complicated, just know that we have to get him back to his dimension." Raph added, pressing his index fingers together. Mikey let out a whiney sigh, fixing his goggles. He'd stand and turn to face draxum, "Hey'.." "he's kind of awkward! But hes really cool!" Micheal pats Mikey on the back.

Mikey laughed nervously and would mutter under his breath, "stop that--!"

"..Do I even want to know how this happened? It haven't been thirty seconds and it's already disastrously. Does splinter know?" Draxum folded his arms as raph complied. "Yeah! Leo's going to make a portal for Uh-- other Mikey to get home." "Why not ours?" The sheepman asked with a hint of curiosity, "because that would be dangerous!" O'Neil said with a look of worry, "it could really hurt him and we can't risk that. Besides, he's just a kid,,"

Micheal frowned, they hated being referred to as a kid. ... especially being told that they couldn't do something.. maybe, just maybe he could prove them wrong..

And that's what he'll do.

BITTW CHAPTER 28

Mikey sat up from his current position, stumbling during the process. ",I hate portal jumping.." said the mutant, his eyes plastered onto large buildings, "this definitely isn't home! Too colorful.."

  Humans walked past Mikey, and some, would just stare. They looked frightened.. Mikey backed away, bumping into a few during the process. With all of the unfamiliar faces and staring humans, all Mikey could do was run. It was way to much stimulation for him at the moment. The boy ran into a nearby alley way, crouching  down and hiding.

  His breathing quickened as he observed his surroundings. "Gosh, I'd rather be home then here.." Mikey said with a low whimper, pressing his head against the brick wall. "..If I'm not home where am I.. what did you do sensei.." said Mikey, as tears of frustration dwelled in his eyes. Not too long after, they'd then figure that there was little to no time to cry about it.

They'd sit up, walking along the pavement. Drops of rain came crashing down on him, only angering him more.

Soon, Mikey walked into a rather wide area, He was bearly paying attention to where he was going.. he didn't even know where to go.

All of a sudden, Mikey fell down a large man hole, bearly having enough time to process what had happened..

"LEO!" Raph shouted, shooting his brother a stern look. "What did I tell ya' about using that skateboard, the wheel will come undone!.. you're not exactly a.. handy man. Leave donnie to it!" "Relax raph, it'll be fine! It rolls faster, way better than my new one!" Raphael rolled his eyes, "Whatevea', just don't say I didn't warn you."

Leon chuckled as he prepared to do this 'Amazing'  stunt he had planned. Just as he were to go down the ramp, something, or someone fell on top of him, causing them both to fall down. They rolled down the ramp, and just as raph thought, the skateboards wheel came undone. they'd reach the center of the ramp, Leo let out a groan and coughed out, "I think I broke something.. Again.." The ninja winced as he struggled to stand up right. Not a moment too soon,  he heard another groan Which followed not too long after.

"Leo, I told y--.." raph cut himself off once he saw what had fallen onto Leo, he let out a, somewhat silent gasp as he'd mutter

"What the.."

Mikey slowly opened his eyes, the sound of low murmurs echoed throughout his

Head.

"What are we gonna do with him?"

"Should we call April?"

"What about dad-- or draxum?"

"Draxum!? No!"

"..Wh- where am I!?" Mikey's eyes would slowly open as the other two jumped back.

Suddenly, a sai was pointed  directly at Mikey's neck as he'd shriek, his eyes widened as he gulped.

"Hey man, Whats your deal!?" The mutant growled.

"Who are you. And why do ya' look like Mikey!" The other argued as Mikey maintained eye contact. "I am Mikey dude, what do you mean!" Mikey looked ahead, only to spot a large snapping turtle with a red mask standing infront of him, interrogating him almost, whilst another mutant with a blue mask stood beside him, not paying too much attention to the situation. Mikey would gasp, "..Master Leonardo?" They'd mutter, catching leons attention. "..Only Casey calls me that-- hey, who are you!" "Oh, now you care?" Raph glared as the red eared slider smirked, "I mean he did mention me did he not?"

The red ninja groaned before glaring back at Mikey, who sat in a chair, tied up and confused. "How do you know Leo.." "..you must be raph-!" A smile formed on Mikey's face as he avoided the question. Raph raised a brow before groaning, "Leo, go get Donnie! Maybe he can sort things out."

Leo sighed before calling out to his twin brother with a hint of irritation, walking down the hall as his shouting faded.

"Look dude, I promise you I mean no harm! I was trying to get home when I ended up here.."

Raph stared at the other, before suddenly, Donnie came about, Leo followed from behind. "Raphael, what's this nonsense Leon is blabbering about!" "-Im telling you, this guy fell on top of me just as I was going to skate! He knows our names and he looks like Mikey!"

   Donnie sighed, approaching Mikey with little to no hesitation. "Let's see.." the ninja muttered before noticing his goggles. "Gasp!" Said the mutant aloud, as Mikey admired him. "d-donnie, it's you! It's all of you!" The boy would chirp, his face lit up with excitement. The brothers looked at one another before Donatello spoke, "..How do you know us?" Asked the purple ninja, as he folded his arms. He'd shoot a stern look at Mikey as he complied, ....well... Somewhat complied.

"Okay, okay,-- this is going to be really hard to explain but-- im-- from an alternate universe kind of! I think? I've seen all of you before, I was-- I dunno, stuck in this universe for two years! You all look so much younger.. I think-- I'm in the past?" Mikey explained as it clicked for donnie, "Aha'! This must be a.. Casey kind of situation." The scientist would smile, "...casey-- Casey's here?" Asked Mikey, whilst raph untied him.

Once free, he rubbed his wrist and smiled, "..Its really all of you--.. though, I haven't seen you before Raphael.." Mikey looked up at raph, who backed up a bit. "I thought you knew all of us--... You even said my name!" "I mean, yeah, but--.. you weren't exactly.. there. Though, they did talk about you alot! They said you were so great! Especially Leo!" "..Doesn't sound like him at all." Raphael said with a stern look. "I will contact April in order to get this situated, brothers. You keep this.. Mikey in sight." Said Donnie, leaving the room to get his cellphone. Suddenly, a voice came from the other end of the hall

"Guys, guys!" A high pitched tone would chirp, catching the three's attention. There came a small, orange masked ninja with a drawing in hand. Mikey gasped as the two laid eyes on one another. "I-.. woah?" The other paused, clenching his drawing. "PA'-!" Mikey squeaked, immediately wrapping his arms around his alternative self. Taken aback, the other flinched, muttering  to himself, "Pa'..?" "PA'!?" leo and raph repeated, as Mikey smiled. "Pa' sensei, dad, whatever! I'm so glad you're here.."

Yet again, for the sake of confusion I will be calling rise! Mikey Micheal because apparently that's how I roll!!1!/sar

   Micheal froze before letting out a nervous laugh, gently tugging the other off. "I- im sorry but I really have no clue who you are.. me..?" She said with a smile. Mikey frowned, "O- oh.. its- it's fine, it's not like I expected you to.."

Silence lingered between the two before Micheal spoke, "..I really like your bow! And your skirt-- it's awesome!" They'd chirp, causing Mikey to smile, "Thanks dude!" The other returned the look, before raph spoke up. "Look, it's great that you guys are gettin' a long and stuff but Uh--.. how about I take--.. other Mikey to dad! He needs to know of course." "Sounds good!" Micheal chimed in, before Mikey froze. "Splinter..?" The other muttered, his gaze shifting onto the ground. "Follow me little guys-- guy!" Raph corrected himself as Micheal huffed due to his slip up, Leo, raph, and Micheal began to head towards splinters room, all except for Mikey.

  ...what if this splinter was just as cruel as his? Did anything change? The mutant sighed, forcing himself to follow the alternates.

"Heya' dad!"

Raph would shout, catching the rats attention. Mikey hid behind Micheal, hesitant to reveal himself. "We've got another situation!"

Splinter glanced at Raphael, "hm.. what's happened now? Did blue and purple get into another fight?" "Not today!" Leon announced proudly, gaining an annoyed look from master splinter.

"Well we-- hey- where did he go?"

"Here.." Mikey muttered, looking down as he walked towards splinter. "Apparently-- this is Mikey? He says he's from another universe, and the future. Like Casey! With the whole casey situation anyways, I'm not too suprised. What should we do?"

Mikey stood in silence before speaking up, "I just-- really want to go home! You don't think there's another way, right..?" "..Maybe.. how did you get here in the first place?" "Sensei Angelo made me a portal to get home, but instead of going home I ended up here! .. it was all by portals." "Portals?" Both Leon and Micheal spoke,

"I can do that with ease!" They'd both speak before shooting one another suspenseful glares. "It would be safer for me to do it!" Argued Leonardo, "you can bearly make portals properly, besides, it was me who got him here in the first place, I should do it! C'mon, I'm strong enough!--"

"My son, I think, Leonardo is right.." splinter uttered, as Mikey smiled. "Thank you-.." the boy hesitantly spoke, As micheal stormed out of the room. Raph and Leo followed, leaving Mikey and splinter alone.

  Mikey figured that it was time to go; he turned around to leave but was stopped by the voice of master splinter. He'd turn slowly, "--Yes, master splinter?" The mutant asked, "Why do you seem so.. Er'.. what's the word-- scared?" "Scared?" Mikey repeated, laughing it off. "I- I'm not-- scared, no.." "..If there's something bothering you, you may want to talk to orange'.."

Mikey guessed he was referring to Micheal, and smiled. "Thanks, splinter.."

Finally, the mutant turned to leave..

Raphael said with a stern look. "I will contact April in order to get this situated, brothers. You keep this.. Mikey in sight." Said Donnie, leaving the room to get his cellphone. Suddenly, a voice came from the other end of the hall

"Guys, guys!" A high pitched tone would chirp, catching the three's attention. There came a small, orange masked ninja with a drawing in hand. Mikey gasped as the two laid eyes on one another. "I-.. woah?" The other paused, clenching his drawing. "PA'-!" Mikey squeaked, immediately wrapping his arms around his alternative self. Taken aback, the other flinched, muttering  to himself, "Pa'..?" "PA'!?" leo and raph repeated, as Mikey smiled. "Pa' sensei, dad, whatever! I'm so glad you're here.."

A/N;

Yet again, for the sake of confusion I will be calling rise! Mikey Micheal because apparently that's how I roll!!1!/sar

   Micheal froze before letting out a nervous laugh, gently tugging the other off. "I- im sorry but I really have no clue who you are.. me..?" She said with a smile. Mikey frowned, "O- oh.. its- it's fine, it's not like I expected you to.."

Silence lingered between the two before Micheal spoke, "..I really like your bow! And your skirt-- it's awesome!" They'd chirp, causing Mikey to smile, "Thanks dude!" The other returned the look, before raph spoke up. "Look, it's great that you guys are gettin' a long and stuff but Uh--.. how about I take--.. other Mikey to dad! He needs to know of course." "Sounds good!" Micheal chimed in, before Mikey froze. "Splinter..?" The other muttered, his gaze shifting onto the ground. "Follow me little guys-- guy!" Raph corrected himself as Micheal huffed due to his slip up, Leo, raph, and Micheal began to head towards splinters room, all except for Mikey.

  ...what if this splinter was just as cruel as his? Did anything change? The mutant sighed, forcing himself to follow the alternates.

"Heya' dad!"

Raph would shout, catching the rats attention. Mikey hid behind Micheal, hesitant to reveal himself. "We've got another situation!"

Splinter glanced at Raphael, "hm.. what's happened now? Did blue and purple get into another fight?" "Not today!" Leon announced proudly, gaining an annoyed look from master splinter.

"Well we-- hey- where did he go?"

"Here.." Mikey muttered, looking down as he walked towards splinter. "Apparently-- this is Mikey? He says he's from another universe, and the future. Like Casey! With the whole casey situation anyways, I'm not too suprised. What should we do?"

Mikey stood in silence before speaking up, "I just-- really want to go home! You don't think there's another way, right..?" "..Maybe.. how did you get here in the first place?" "Sensei Angelo made me a portal to get home, but instead of going home I ended up here! .. it was all by portals." "Portals?" Both Leon and Micheal spoke,

"I can do that with ease!" They'd both speak before shooting one another suspenseful glares. "It would be safer for me to do it!" Argued Leonardo, "you can bearly make portals properly, besides, it was me who got him here in the first place, I should do it! C'mon, I'm strong enough!--"

"My son, I think, Leonardo is right.." splinter uttered, as Mikey smiled. "Thank you-.." the boy hesitantly spoke, As micheal stormed out of the room. Raph and Leo followed, leaving Mikey and splinter alone.

  Mikey figured that it was time to go; he turned around to leave but was stopped by the voice of master splinter. He'd turn slowly, "--Yes, master splinter?" The mutant asked, "Why do you seem so.. Er'.. what's the word-- scared?" "Scared?" Mikey repeated, laughing it off. "I- I'm not-- scared, no.." "..If there's something bothering you, you may want to talk to orange'.."

Mikey guessed he was referring to Micheal, and smiled. "Thanks, splinter.."

Finally, the mutant turned to leave..

That wasn't too bad..

BITTW CHAPTER 27

Casey ran through the fallen debree, hopping and gliding over the obstacles in his way with nothing but ease. Just as he thought he was safe He was then tackled.

   The boy yelped almost and began squirm,

a mysterious figure then stood, pressing their boot down on his back. They wore a black hoodie with black gloves, the mask on their lower face seemed like something like a gas mask? Casey groaned, "Alright, alright!" The boy coughed out, "you win..", he'd sigh. The mutant smiled behind his mask before removing it, "Third time in a row!" Said Mikey, releasing him. The boys had gained permission to train just behind the barriers, and they took it to their advantage.

They have been doing this for a while now.. what, two years? Time flies. "Pa'! Did you see that!"  Mikey squeaked, just a few inches away stood sensei angelo and master Leonardo. Sensei Angelo had grown a custom to Mikey called him such names, rather than sensei. He'd smile, "sure did.. you're a natural at this."

Compared from the many other times they've done this, day by day, master Angelo had seemed even more and more deflated. It all started when Mikey's 17th birthday had finally passed, master Leonardo would pull Angelo away to speak with him, and he'd return looking upset. Angelo frowned before Leo placed a hand on his shoulder, once again, taking him away to talk.

"..So, rematch?" Said Casey, preparing himself for another round.

"Yeah, just give me a second, 'Case."

"Sure thing!" Casey smiled before Mikey curved around the base, hearing small whispers not too far away.

"Today? Does it really have to happen today? can't we just wait?" Angelo said, Leo crossed his arms. "You promised, angelo. He has to go back home. "..I know..b- but.." angelo paused and sighed.

"Fine.. I'll --"

"..I'm going back home?"

Mikey interrupted. Angelo and Leon looked back at him before freezing. ".. Mikey you weren't supposed to --" "I can't go home sensei, I have a Life here, a life with you guys!" "-but then again you have a life with your brothers to get back to.. I promised Leo, just last year that I'd try to make a portal, one to send you home." "..i- I can't go home sensei, I love it here, here with you guys!" "Mikey, I know, but--" "Do you just not want me here?" "No, Mikey that's not what i--"

"Just forget it.." the boy sighed, rushing off.

".. he'll understand." Leo reassures and Angelo sighed, "I don't know what I'm gonna do with him.." he'd mutter before leaving.

When she turned the corner, Mikey was no where to be seen. "Casey -- wheres Mikey?" Asked sensei Angelo. "He went inside not too long ago, not quite sure what his problem is." Sensei Angelo nodded and headed inside. They'd past the humans and yokai into the slim hall, some greeting him along the way. Most had gained real respect for sensei Angelo, while the others; (Mainly children) were still frightened by his intimidating appearance, but, once seeing him with Mikey, she didn't look so bad anymore.

  "Mikey! Where'd that kid go.." sensei Angelo called out. He'd open the door do his dojo, and finally found mikey sitting on the floor. "Mikey, why'd you run off like that.." "-I didn't run off I just.. I just want to be alone Right now." Said Mikey, his head hanging low.

"..Do you really not want to get home to your brothers, Mikey?" Angelo asked with a worried look, "No ." Mikey replied. "Its not them.. i-i don't want to get home to splinter. I don't want to leave you guys, what am I supposed to do without you! Two years, wasted!"

"Did you really think you'd stay..?"

"..Maybe.. i- I don't know anymore." Mikey pouted before Angelo stepped closer, "..Your brothers miss you Mikey, I know they do . Splinter does too."

".. They're better off without me. As for splinter, he.. he doesn't love me, he doesn't care. I just want to forget about that little--" "Mikey!" Angelo exclaimed, slightly taken aback. "Of course splinter loves you--" "NO, HE DOESNT!--..He never Asked where I was, he showed no signs of worry, didn't you hear mondo.. well..when he was still alive. I've bet they've done so much without me already.." Angelo , slightly startled. "I obviously don't want to lose you either but if I forced you to stay here, that would be selfish..you helped me, and now it's time for me to help you."

".. You've already done so much for me and you don't even know.." Mikey mumbled. Angelo stood in silence for a moment before suddenly the door opened.

"Mikey, Angelo." Leo called, "I think it's about time.."

Sensei Angelo sighed before smiling. Leon left the room, and waited outside of the dojo. "C'mon, kid'. He's right." Mikey inhaled sharply before sighing. "..Alright." said the mutant, finally complying. He was warned, several times that this day would come. Mikey stood up, leaving the dojo without a word. Casey was also there, a bit confused. "Guys? What's going on?"

"I'm going home, Casey." Mikey told, whilst Leo and Angelo passed them.

"Home!? But that means.." Casey paused as they followed Mikey and Leo from behind. ".. I'm gonna miss you, Casey." "Same here.."

Leo and Angelo led Mikey and casey away from the base, for the simple reason that Angelo needed enough space to work his magic. Finally, when they were far enough away, Leo stopped Mikey and Casey whilst Angelo continued to walk. Finally, he stopped in his tracks and took a deep breath.

Leon turned to Mikey, who had a displeased look on his face. "Mikey, you don't have to--... Watch, really!-- why don't you-" "No.." Mikey interrupted, clenching his fist. "I want to watch.. I want to see pa's--..sensei's dedication."

Sensei Angelo glared before, suddenly, a loud crash occured.

Loud snarls came from not too far away..it was mayhem, growling. "Mayhem?" Leo called, before suddenly.. something, somewhat 'Unexpected' happened.. one of the kraang dogs would then dig their razor sharp teeth into mayhems throat, shortly after.

Mikey flinched as mayhem shrieked and struggled to fight the 'thing off. almost, tens of hundreds of Those creatures emerged from behind that one singular dog as mayhem fell to the ground.

"-MAYHEM!" Leo gasped, angelos eyes widened, slightly caught off guard. Mikey put his hands over his mouth, but there was not nearly enough time to react. "Mikey, you stay here! Aneglo, make the portal. Casey.. let's go."

Casey nodded, as Leon would take his new sword forged just a year prior. Angelo nodded, hesitantly at that, whilst Both Leon and Casey set off. Leo would fight off the kraang dogs whilst Casey went off to recover mayhem. Sensei Angelo prepared to make the portal, they'd take a deep breath, attempting to get these thoughts off of their mind. Mikey looked back at his sensei, sparks of yellow light flew from the man's hands. "Sensei!" Mikey called out as tears struck the corners of his eyes, the portal formed rather quickly due to Angelo's desperation. He wouldn't look back at Mikey despite his pleas, this caused the boy to cry out with worry. Once again failing at this, they'd glance back at mayhem and Casey.. mayhem was weak, soft whimpers came from the creature as it would struggle to stand on its fours. Blood fell from its throat, as it began to wobble. It was nearly impossible for him to survive now..

In a panic, Mikey rushed towards Angelo and cried,

"What are we going to do, I can't go now! Pa' please--.." he'd whimper, only to notice beads of tears falling down Angelo's cheeks. Taken aback, he'd stop with his bickering and instead, backed away. Shortly after, the portal was completed. Once more, cracks formed from Angelo's hands to his forearms, beads of sweat formed as he fell back.

"Mikey, go."

Said the mutant as Mikey gave him a worried look. "I- I can't leave now, look around you!.. sensei, please.." "..'kid, it's alright.." Angelo placed a hand on his shoulder.. "You'll be safe...alright? Now go." He'd furrowed his brows, causing Mikey to silence himself. "I-, I can't pa' please--", Mikey was cut off by the feeling of Angelo's hand on his cheek. To Mikey's surprise, none of the cracks transfered onto his skin. "..Its alright! You're going to be okay.."

Michealangelo took a deep breath before stepping towards the portal, looking back at his sensei. He had a smile on his face, which encouraged Mikey to make him proud.. with his final breath, mikey went through the portal..

2023 RISE! UNIVERSE

Mikey's eyes fluttered open as the sound of cars and trucks passing by filled the air, at the time they felt incredibly nauseous.. he'd look up and smile, but, it would quickly fade..

"..Wait.." Mikey paused, observing his surroundings..

"This isn't home.."

BITTW CHAPTER 26!

    Mikey awoke on a mat in sensei Angelo's dojo, the smell of hibiscus tea centered the room, causing the mutant to wince. It was pitch black, the only source of light coming from a dimly lit waxed candle.

After looking around for a little bit, he spotted sensei angelo Tending to his wounds. Mikey groaned as he stood straight, gritting his teeth. "..Sensei?" Mikey mumbled. The man looked back at Mikey, his eyes glowing yellow. He then gave a soft smile, "..Hey' Mikey...it's.. pretty late for you to be up right now." He said before turning back around.

"What time is it..?"

"..Three, four in the morning? You should rest." "-Im not tired." Said Mikey, as he approached, looking into the mirror Infront of his sensei. It was only then, when Mikey looked down at his sensei's hand, he remembered the events from just a few hours prior. Mikey sat next to sensei Angelo with his head down, holding back tears. Sensei and glared at him before sighing, "look, I.. i know how you feel." He'd place a hand on his shoulder, only for Mikey to pull away.

  ".. You don't. you should've seen the way mondo looked at me before I left him, we could've saved him! Donatello too."

Angelo fell silent before shutting his eyes, ".. I've seen the look on many. It's.. not and different. but it's okay, I will try my hardest to get you home, it will get better." "Home..? No, you don't understand,. I don't.. I don't want to go home, I don't want to leave you here. You're more of a father than splinter ever was to me.. he'd always treat raph and I.. differently. I was like he favored Leo and Donnie.." Mikey muttered, lying his head on sensei Angelo's shoulder. Sensei Angelo froze for a bit before smiling, beads of tears falling down his cheeks, they weren't tears of sadness or, anything of the sort, just ... Happiness. Or-- somewhat happiness. "..I don't want you to hurt anymore Mikey, it's for your own good, really." "..T- then.. can you come with me?" Asked Mikey, with a smile. Angelo stared at him for a bit before sighing, "..I can't. Though.. I can leave you with something of mine."

"And what's that?" The other asked. Angelo finished up wrapping his hand in bandages and stood up, "Since you don't have your.. usual weapon, I figured that I should give you mine.. I mean, it would be of more help."

Sensei Angelo opened a cabinet, and took out two pairs of orange nunchucks, just to Mikey's liking. His eyes lit up as he smiled, "Those look awesome! I get to keep it?" "-Yes, but.. they are a bit dangerous. Just make sure you are in control while using them, alright?" "yeah, yeah!" Mikey squeaked as Angelo gave the nunchucks over to Mikey, hesitantly. Would he be able to handle them?

"..these look different compared to mine!"

"..Well, these are pretty different from the rest, i--...you know what, enjoy, kid. You deserve it." Angelo muttered, surpassing the boy.

Just as Mikey were to follow him, he noticed Donnies goggles, still on the floor.. he'd stare before taking a deep breath and picking up the item.. they'd put the object over their head with a smile, though, bearly confident.

"..Sensei, do you think I could be like you? With your powers and everything?" Mikey asked, as he'd clench his fist. "..i wanna help people, like you do. Y'know.. be useful.. for when I get home. Maybe.. splinter would treat me better."

Angelo glared at Mikey, "Trust me, you do not want these powers.. I mean, the kraang was right, these powers are, truly a curse. I should've given them up." "What? No way dude! What's the use of having powers if you won't use them, or don't like em'? Besides, they could've, and would've caused chaos with your power!"

"I guess you're right, 'kid.. I will help you, but, promise me you'll stay.. stable throughout the whole thing."

"Yeah, yeah! Promise!"

".. Alright. Let the training commence."

BITTW CHAPTER 25

"Sensei, Donatello!" Casey would almost shout before Leon covered the others mouth.

"I thought i told you three to--"

The ninja paused, his attention shifting towards huggin, muninn, and Angelo. Maybe the others being present wasn't the biggest issue..

   Leo let go of Casey and sighed, before the kraang suddenly spoke.

"Last Chance, 'Hamato." The alien growled, The mutants gaze shifted onto the floor, he'd contemplate before mumbling..

".. We do not have time for this.." Said Donatello, as he suddenly took his bo staff from the back of his battle shell, "What are you doing?" asked Leo. Donnies grip on his bo staff tightened as he sighed, "..Helping, of course." "what are you going to do? What do ya' have in mind?" The gecko asked, peaking over his shoulder. "..Crafting a bow and arrow would be an efficient way to distract the kraang." Donnie said with a smile before Leo spoke up, "A bow and arrow? What could you possibly do with that?" "I mean, we could --"

   A sudden voice would interrupt Donnie, causing him to jolt.

"Fine."

The kraang growled, as it would approach sensei Angelo with a grin. The mutant squirmed as he grabbed ahold of Angelo's throat, "I'll just have to force it out of you" the alien gripped tighter before letting go, practically tossing Angelo to the side as if they were nothing. Sensei Angelo coughed out both saliva and blood, their breathing would quicken by the meer passing seconds. The kraang would make their way over to a nearby lever, gripping onto it. Before the kraang could pull the lever, an arrow shot through their tentacle, causing the alien to screech, almost. "GO!" Donnie shouted, but felt someone, or, some thing grab a hold of his leg and drag him back. "DONNIE!" Mikey screamed as the man was dragged into the darkness, his bo staff being dropped during the process.

    Leo's eyes widened, but just as he were to leave, he'd look back at the three, they seemed frightened..

It was either Donnie, or Angelo and the others.

"..what are you waiting for guy', get Donnie!" Mikey demanded, as Leon looked down at him. "B- but -- Angelo, i-.."

"We've got this.." Mikey paused before grabbing donnies bo staff.. "We'll meet with you outside of the barriers when sensei is home free!"

"..Damn it.. just-- Fine! Don't get yourselves hurt! That thing is extremely dangerous.." Leo backed away, an alarm suddenly went off.. red lights began to flash as some kind of barrier began to rise from the ground, separating Leo from the others. "MASTER LEONARDO!"  Casey screamed before numerous footsteps could be heard.. "No, no.. we have to go!" Said the gecko..

"You three are not going anywhere.." a voice echoed from behind.. Casey eyes widened as he whipped his head around. The kraang ripped the arrow out of his tentacle and pulled the lever, causing Angelo to wince and scream, they would squirm endlessly as flames began to form. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO HIM!" Mikey screamed, whilst mondo and Casey pulled him back. Tears fell from mikeys cheek.

"Extracting his power. With abilities like his, I'd.. we'd be unstoppable.." the alien grinned before crushing the arrow with his tentacle. Casey released Mikey before seething his weapon. he'd furrow his brows and grip onto the object, "Let sensei Angelo go at once.. and-- well-- the gargoyles too!"

  "How cute.. unfortunately, I do not think that will do." The alien snickered as few humans cornered the mutants not a second to soon, whilst the kraang approached. Mikey whined and held onto mondo, though the gecko was actually as frightened.. Mikey clenched donnies bo staff and took a deep breath.. how does one use it?.. Mikey shut his eyes, blocking every disturbance out.. what could've been of use, atleast right now..?

A shield maybe..

"You." Said the kraang, his gaze shifting onto Mikey and donnies bo staff. Mondo growled, defending Mikey. "Leave him be.. y-- you don't want to mess with us!" "Oh really? Maybe I can get two for the price of one.."

The alien raised its tentacle, shooting it towards mondo and Mikey. Both Casey and mondo shut their eyes, in hopes for something, anything to stop this.. and fortunately, something did.

Casey's eyes fluttered open and to his surprise, an orange force Field like barrier protected the three,  the impact of the kraangs hit bearly even damaged it. Mikey opened his eyes slowly, a small gasp would escape his mouth before he'd smile. "Mikey! How'd you-- d- doesn't matter!" Mondo shook his head and smiled, hugging Mikey tightly. A nervous giggle came from the mutant before Mikey cleared his throat. Mondo let go and let them work their magic.

  "..What strange power. Maybe you can join that.. monster." "He is NOT a monster!" Mikey shouted before raising the staff,  shoving the end onto the ground. Suddenly, the force Field would almost pop, the impact of the blow wiping out most of the humans, it would even stun the kraang for a bit. "Move out!" Casey demanded, they began running towards one of the barriers that weren't closed..

..."w- wait, sensei!" Mikey backtracked, before he could turn around, mondo grabbed his arm, "We will have him, right now, we need a real plan! We can't defeat all of those guys on our own, trust me.." the gecko gave a reassuring smile. Mikey gulped, putting most, if not all of his trust into mondo.

"..okay..o- okay, yeah-! We'll save him!.."

"..Well, what are you standing here for!? Get them! Bring the orange one to me.. I'll deal with that one myself." "Yes sir.." said one of the humans, before the rest left. flames still emerged from Angelo's hands,  they were getting exhausted..

"Let's speed this up, shall we?" Said the kraang, pulling the lever to its highest, yet most dangerous setting. Angelo screamed in pain as they'd fall to their knees, the kraang was obviously testing Angelo's most indefinite limits.. unfortunately, the kraang didn't think the fire was anything to worry about and just.. left.

What a horrible move..

A few items in this, isolated room caught fire, and it spread... All the way to the rope huginn and muninn were practically hanging from, hovering over the tub of acid..

That's... Not good.

  "Donnie.. Donnie!" Leo called out, until he heard a groan not too long after. "..Donnie!" Leon gasped, traveling towards the source of the sound.. sure enough, it was Donatello.  "...There you are." "'Nardo, hush.." Donnie would whisper, it was only then Leo noticed that he was covered in pink and purple goop. The man winced before whispering, "what happened.. who, o- or what grabbed you.." "..the sister kranng, she--...she's gone now.. where are Casey, mondo, and Mikey!?" "We were separated and I had to choose between you or Angelo, but they said that that could handle it!" "you TRUSTED them!? And left them with the k-- what the hell is wrong with you!?" Donnie exclaimed, giving Leo a frustrated look. "We're not trying to put these kids through the shit we went through when we were younger! We have to find them immediately.." the purple one stood, brushing himself off. "..Be glad I chose to come save you--" "well you shouldn't have!.. Angelo is more important. Let's move.." said Donnie, shutting his eyes. "..Then what was I supposed to do, I.." "Look, I understand that you must be under alot of pressure but--.." Donnie paused, staring into space. "..Wha what wrong, what happened?" "Do..do you smell that?"

Leon looked around before he froze,,

".. smoke."

Huginn pulled an arm from the ropes and ripped off the tape. "ANGELO! Listen, bud, you have to calm down!" They gargoyle urged, taking the mask of tape off of the other. "Yeah, you'll kill all three of us--" the rope suddenly snapped, almost killing the poor guys..

"He won't listen.. muninn, try to get the rope off!" Huginn said, tugging on the object. Everytime they'd struggle, the rope seemed to get more and more loose, they both weighed as one so it was harder.. "huginn, the fire!" Muninn whimpered, it was getting close.. suddenly, huginn stopped struggling.. "its no use, we're going to fall!" "N-- no don't say that--..Dang it, I didn't even get to do too much before death!" Muninn sighed. Huginn frowned before a smile formed, "hey, atleaset I get to go out with my bestest Friend.." "awh.. me too, bud." Said muninn, before the rope, so suddenly, snapped completely..

Angelo clawed at the chains, tugging at them and practically ripping them off. Luckily, with enough force it worked, but formed a nasty bruise.. Angelo was desperate, so, of course, went through with it.

Finally, they were free of their chains, but couldn't seem to calm down. Angelo looked at their hands , tears pricking at the corner of their eyes.. the damage was already done . Sensei Angelo turned around, yet huginn and muninn were no where to be seen.. this power really was a curse.. they were right.. Angelo really was a monster. Angelo limped towards the barrier and practically broke it down, and dear god..  it was a mess out there. Several humans were screaming as the fire quickly spread.

"..The others!" Angelo thought.. what if Angelo hurt them? He couldn't let that happen.

"DONNIE!" Mikey would shout, as they'd finally meet up. "Dude, I did really cool stuff with your staff!" "Yeah, cool, proud of ya', BUT WHERES ANGELO! This whole place is coming down!" "I- don't know, we had to leave because the kraang, i-..." "..damn it.. Look, I'll go get him, you guys escape! I'll meet you at the base." "What-- no we can't do that!" Mikey objected, taking a few steps back. "..what are you doing?" Leon asked before Mikey sighed, "i- I'll go get him!" "Mikey you can't!" Mondo said, grabbing his arm, tightly. "I can, And I will, mondo! He's my sensei and I should be the one helping him!" "Says who!" Mondo argued. Mikey glared at him before pulling away. "I- I'll be back!" Mikey scurried off as mondo yelled his name, the gecko clenched his fist and groaned. "Why is he making this so difficult!" Mondo muttered before running after him.

"A- ARE YOU KIDDING ME! You.. two, go. ACTUALLY leave. I will be the one getting him, like. We. Planned." Leo was hesitant, but nodded.

"C'mon, Casey.." Leo placed a hand on his shoulder. Casey whined before nodding, following Leo's lead.

  "MIKEY!" Mondo yelled, as the flames got more and more agressive. The fire crackled around him, smoke infiltrating his lungs. Mondo groaned as his vision became foggy, looking out for Mikey. Soon enough, mondo spotted them. They looked confused, as they were calling out for sensei Angelo. "Mikey!" Mondo yelled, catching his attention. "Mondo!-- what are you doing!" Mikey approached him slowly, "you're supposed to be with the others-.." "i- ...I had to come find you.." mondo huffed out, and suddenly, fell to his knees. The boy coughed out droplets of blood, causing Mikey to freeze. "-Mondo!" He'd shout, stooling down to his level in order to comfort him. "what happened..?"

"Where are those rodents!?"

A voice would echo, Mikey flinched before Mondo placed a hand on his. "Y- you need to leave! Now.." "..But you're hurt.." Mikey mumbled, "..i-ill be okay. Right now you really need to go." Tears began to dwell in Mikey's eyes, as he slowly began to regret his decision.  "-It'll be fine, I'll be fine! I promise.."  mondo reassured, holding onto his side. Mikey would notice blood coming from under his shirt, causing him to wince. "..How did you..." "-It must've been from the blow of the force Field, something.. happened.." mondo groaned. Mikey inched closer and whimpered, "I can't loose you, mondo.. we- we just.. please don't do this.." mondo smiled before kissing Mikey's cheek, without a word. Mikey's expression softened, before they were spotted by sister kraang.

Mikey stood and clenched his fist, "WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS!" they'd yell as tears fell down their cheeks, the alien laughed as she came closer. "Mikey, leave!" Mondo urged, doing everything in his power to stand. "..do you trust me?" Asked mondo. "..yes." mikey replied, "then go!" He'd shout,

The mutant backed away before closing his eyes and running away, praying that Mondo was okay.

"SENSEI!"

Mikey called, and suddenly heard a voice. "-Mikey? Kid..?" "S- sensei-!" The boy gasped, venturing towards the source of the sound. Just as he'd expect, Angelo was there, though horribly scared he was okay! "Pa'!.." Mikey almost immediately hugged him, holding him tightly. "Mikey.. where are the others?" Asked Angelo, "They're gone, I went back for you, mondo tried to help b- but.." Mikey paused, "..huginn, muninn..what about them." "..i-.." Angelo was left speachless, Mikey assumed the worst. ".. Everything will be okay, right..?" "..right." Angelo suddenly felt a chill up his spine,

   "You little pest.."

The kraang growled from behind. Angelo immediately got into a defensive stance, "Mikey, go.."

"..No, no! I'm not doing this, I cannot leave you again.." he'd argue. Angelo shut his eyes before he spoke, "What do you want."

The alien grinned, "you know exactly what I'd like.. for years, I've been trying to harvest your power.. look what you've done, you cause NOTHING but chaos  As I see it, we're doing you a favor.." Angelo sighed, "If it's my power you want, it's what you'll get.." flames sparked from angelos fist.. "They always do it that hard way.."

"ANGELO, MIKEY!" Donnie yelled, approaching the two. The kraang glared before raising his tentacle, shooting it towards Angelo. Angelo's eyes widened, flinching . But..

Nothing haopened, yet again.

".. Donnie?" Mikey gasped.. it went straight through donnies chest, he'd freeze, looking down. "DONNIE!" Angelo yelled, before furrowing his brows. He'd use his chains to grip onto the kraang, practically throwing the alien across the camp grounds.

While Angelo was distracted, Mikey approached Donnie as he fell to the ground. ".. Fuck--.." the man coughed out as blood fell from his mouth. "..Y- you'll be okay, i-" "-Mikey..I won't, really." Donnie laid his head down on the ground, placing a hand on his chest. ".. I'm so sorry. I- if I would just-- this is all my fault.." "..Er'..maybe, but--..hey, it's fine.. I've longed for this moment."

"..what?"

"..After April and big mama went ...i--.. just couldn't handle it. Just do me a favor." "..Anything!" "..Be good for Angelo, alright?" Donnies removed his goggles, handing it to Mikey. "..i-...okay..I promise." Mikey sniffled, before Angelo placed a hand on his shoulder. ".. we've gotta go. Now." Angelo said with a firm tone of voice. "He's down for now."

Mikey looked up at Angelo, only to see goop and blood  covering his body, it was most certainly not his. "..Jesus dude!" "-Thats my brother'.." Donnie smiled before closing his eyes. Angelo sighed and helped Mikey up. Mikey held onto Angelo's back as he carried him throughout the fire..

Mikey looked at the damage caused and noticed that, where Mondo was last left, he was gone.. blood stained the area. Mikey teared up, digging his head into Angelo's shell.

  The two made it out of the camp and heard a loud crash, and then, an explosion it seems.. Mikey flinched before finally, crying.. Angelo held back his tears, there was no time for pity emotions.

"Angelo, Mikey!" Casey shouted, Leo waited beside him..

"Where's mondo and Donnie -- and the gargoyles!"

"... they're gone, Casey." Angelo muttured and continued to move. Mikey held onto Angelo tightly, whilst Leo and Casey followed.. they were all silent, aside from Mikey's occasional sobs and whines. Finally, he fell asleep on Angelo due to exhaustion..

They made it back to the lair, safely..but.. was it really worth it?
