Dragged my backside out of bed yesterday morning and planned on shooting sunset in Olney, a short drive away. Unfortunately my planned location was flooded and inaccessible so a quick change of location Swamy heading for the fields behind Olney church. The river was flooded but the light was good and I spent about an hour shooting various compositions. As I was walking from the car down to the cottages I could see that there was something going on at the horizon where a bank of cloud was literally glowing with predawn light, making me wish I’d got there even earlier!
