@werewolfcrypt just messaged me to wish me good luck with my ‘coming out’ to an old friend this coming Friday, and it gave me an idea – why don’t we make a thread of just positive stories about sharing your otherkinity with non-kin? I’ll start

It’s been years since I actually told this friend about me being 'kin, but since I’m kinda quiet about it, it’s barely ever brought up. They follow both this blog and my 'kin instagram, though, so they stay updated. After I posted something about social dysphoria, they quickly sent me one of the best messages they could’ve sent:

Kind non-kin that will take the time to understand you exist. Even if you feel like you’re bombarded with hate, mockery, scorn, and maliciousness, know that the people acting like that are just a loud, unpleasant majority💖

The Beauty of The Moon

The moon is full, and bright and I can see it shining in the window and everything inside me is screaming to be outside, but this human form of mine cant handle the cold, I cant risk getting sick, so I stare quietly from within the confines of this basement.

I can feel her / the moon calling to me. My limbs have goosebumps the hair on them standing on end itching to be out there running through the woods.

Running with the moon as your guiding light.

The moon is so beautiful and I will enjoy it in all of its splendor.
