Can I not be critiqued by Christians on everything I do?

"Obeying God brings rewards." Really? Is that what this whole thing is about? We love our neighbors because somewhere in our cosmic future we will be given a reward for it? This is the most twisted manipulation I have ever heard of. I've heard so many people talk about how because they walked in the "ways if The Lord" that He poured out blessings on them. I'm so sick of this! Even in my adamant rebellion against Him He is continually pouring out blessings on my life! And no, Christian with a stick up your ass, God does not reward you for obedience. You are not a puppy! He pours out blessings and gifts upon you and is holding out even greater ones to you because He loves you and because He loves the world. A Man like that, someone who loves simply because is someone I want to get to know. That's the most attractive thing ever.

People are always telling me that they're praying for me. And that's great But why can't they say something true? Cuz.... When they're saying "I'm praying for you" they're speaking generally Not literally They can't mentally be praying. And telling me that they're praying simultaneously It really just gets old Why don't people tell eachother "God is with you." All the time ???? Cuz that's actually true And very comforting Human prayers are nice but Being told "God is with you." Has so much more meaning to me And the "I'm praying for you" thing makes me wonder, are people more worried about me thinking they're spiritual and pray all the time? Cuz Jesus told us to go pray in our closets..
