There was no way he was going to allow this piece of shit of a person to be released just to get ahold of his sister and beat on her. The way Luke saw it, was that it was either his sister losing her life or the ex boyfriend losing his. He chose the ex. To this day, Luke’s sister has no idea that he was responsible for her ex’s murder.
