Past | Dallas struggled with addiction and wrong choices to the point of losing a girlfriend to an overdose. He lives with regret over this because he just left her there and didn’t call for help.
Present | The Struggles of his past addiction still live with him but he has made a name for himself and started his own career of managing others lives work. He has also once again found happiness and being able to bring himself to love another without regret from his past.
Future | He hopes one day his company becomes big enough that he is able to have a building and not still manage out of his own home. He also hopes to get married, he sees himself settling down with Bristol and he hopes that is also what she wants with him. Kids are surely in his future, his mother would kill him if he didn’t bring some little ones in the world.

Chip | 3 Years Old
Chip loves to go to the dog park and he has quite a few girlfriends when we go. In both forms of human and four legged friends. He is quite the ladies man. I’ve had him since he was 8 weeks old. He has been my saving grace of getting and staying sober in my time of need. I just look over at him and remember I need to stay sober for him to make sure he is at his healthiest at all times.

A Simple Call
"I don't know how many times I have to tell you, dad, I'm not using. Just because I don't call the time doesn't mean I have gone back to my old ways." Dallas understand that it was a fear for his parents but his father didn't seem to understand where he was coming from. Dallas had been sober for nearly five years now. Yeah, he had fallen off the wagon a few times but nothing that his parents knew of and surely not what he was doing when he was a teenager. He felt like when he did the party favors it was just that, something to do at the party but he never brought it home with him or craved it like he did the black tar.
"Dad, no I met someone so I've been spending a lot of time with her in general." "Oh that's just great, if this one breaks your heart you will fall right back into it again." "Why do you have to be so negative? Mom isn't this way. She told me she was happy to see me dating again. Look I send you money every month to prove to you that I'm not out there spending it on dope. I've been going to NA meetings again since I'm back in the city and you know how much I can't stand those. You have to get over this fear of me using." There was a silence on the other end of the phone like as if his father couldn't believe that he had just snapped back at him. Dallas was trying his best to keep his cool with his father but it seemed like every time he called and spoke to his father it was the same thing.
"Fine. Here's you mother." Dallas could hear on the other end of the phone, the house phone being set down on a table. He let out a sigh as he heard it be picked back up. "Hi, Sweetie don't let your father get under your skin. I believe you aren't using anymore." Dallas shook his head hearing his mother on the other end of the phone. "I just hate the fact that he won't let it go. He just thinks when I don't call all the time I've fallen back into my ways." "You can't fault him for worrying Dallas. He loves you and you are our only child so he worries about what you doing." Dallas let out another sigh as he looked over at Bristol who was sitting on his couch, she didn't seem to be paying attention to his phone call but he wasn't sure. "Mom, I got to go. I have company. I just wanted to check like I promised I would do. Let's meet for dinner later this week. I will have a guest with me." "I love you Hunny. I hope it's your new friend you are bringing over. Let's shoot for Sunday since you are going out of town next week." "Okay, mom I love you too. See you Sunday at 6 like normal. Have a good night." Dallas listened as his mother said her goodbye and he hung up the phone.
