Bio

Terry is an excitable, kindhearted individual. Born in Crisis City, the young cat grew up idolizing superheroes, always excited to watch their missions on TV or in person. After a chance meeting with the planet's greatest champion, Comet Crusher, he inherited his powers to prevent a gigantic comet from smashing into Crisis City. Because of this act of heroism, he was dubbed Comet Catcher, and is considered Crisis City's golden boy.

Despite the spotlight being on him, he is one of the newest heroes on the scene. Because of his high profile entrance and incredible power, he's been placed in an unconventional mentoring program where the heroes of Crisis City show him the ropes.

Although meek and kind of a slacker, he enjoys the spotlight. Whereas Terry is a wallflower, Comet Catcher lights up the room with his commanding presence, and knows how to play to the camera. This, coupled with a size shift, means people rarely connect Terry to his Comet Catcher persona and vice versa.

Powerset

Super Strength - Terry is capable of performing feats of strength far greater than someone his size should capable of.

Gravity Manipulation - Terry is able to alter or negate the effects of gravity on himself and the things he touches, making them heavier or lighter as needed. Used in tandem with super strength to maintain the structural integrity of whatever he's carrying.

Energy Projection - Terry is capable of creating and projecting fields of energy in the form of force fields or projectiles. This power also allows him to slip in and out of costume near-instantly by transforming matter into energy temporarily.

Flight (theoretically) - Terry has been observed to have the capability of flight, but cannot currently control it.

Heroic Heart - Terry's powers are constantly active, and he is incapable of consciously "turning them off". However, his powers work in tandem to prevent injuries to himself or other people. Notably, his gravity powers automatically make things he interacts with heavier so that he doesn't wind up destroying things, though accidents are known to happen.
