i really don’t want to make a rp blog just to rp or a discord group frankly, ive done all that, i’ve got nearly twenty years in this game and i’m tired. i’m just looking for some quirky and fun shit to talk about or talk in character about. i’m on wire under the same name as this blog, i write jim as a cowboy and stubborn about it and that’s all you gotta know.

Ngl I love how in Star Trek AOS first movie, they introduced Leonard 'Bones' McCoy to Jim Kirk and then promptly jump cut to them in like academy reds talking to each other, and the fandom's instant reactionary headcanon was 'omg they were roommates'

STAR TREK: THE ORIGINAL SERIES MIRROR, MIRROR | 6 October, 1967

Ohhhh boy finally I’m finished with this bad boy. This is for @plaidshirtjimkirk ‘s @oldmarriedspirk Challenge! This of course takes place before Spock returns to the Enterprise in TMP, and if it’s not entirely clear it’s a slight twist where Spock does in fact seek Bones’ advice for how to approach the Unfuckening he caused between TOS & TMP. 

The format and coloring was largely inspired by Tongari’s  25 Lives, which is one of my absolute favorite comics and pieces of writing, like, ever. :) I think it’s so beautiful and it inspires me so much every time I come across it/an incarnation of it. Please check it out!

I really enjoyed working on this, but more than anything now I’m pleased to get it out into the world so I can stop worrying about it LOL. I hope you enjoy reading it! A wonderful blooper from “The Trouble with Tribbles”— the camera is solely on Leonard for Spock’s reactions while the rest of the unseen cast (Kirk, Scotty, McCoy) say their lines and fake laugh.

This is just as funny with the sound off.
