✓In addition to a country house - because, why not, the man is probably richer than Jeff Bezos by now - Asami gets them an island as well because he kinda misses those days when it was just them, the octopus and those weird mushrooms.

Akihito is obviously not amused at first because that is so excessive ("...an island? Really? You have way too much money") but then he sees Kirishima and Suoh sweating under the scorching sun, takes pity on them and decides to cook them some fish and for the first time in forever the four of them are having lunch together and it just feels like... Ya know... Family.

(Needless to say, Asami feels the same but he is too proud to admit it.)

What a year, my friends.

After working non-stop on a solid application, I finally got accepted to the PhD program of my dreams. This was early March. I was granted a scholarship too, except it would only cover 30% of the roughly 200k it costs. How am I going to get the other 140k I need? Who knows.

Anywho... Fast forward to two weeks later and I lose my teaching job and sole source of income. So now here I am, scrambling to make a living, preparing to publish books for the first time in my life and terrified I won't sell a single copy and get poor reviews. As a writer, I am terrified of rejection. As an introvert, I don't know how to promote myself. In fact, I love NOT promoting myself in any way, lol.

It's pretty scary.

It's also scary that my mom is 66 with chronic breathing problems and lives in a country that is not taking this pandemic seriously. I had already bought tickets in January to go spend time with her but I fear I might get infected and make her sick somehow.

Weird times.

I still love Finder, by the way, and I have already replied all the asks in my head, just need to turn it into text. Might be a while. My mind is all over the place. I can't focus.
