Sometimes I wonder what majority of my diet is organic

My girlfriend and I do most of our grocery shopping at Whole Foods, and it leaves us with more organic than conventional options

I started shopping there because I like the food better and it turned my whole wellness journey around

Consuming a mostly organic diet has probably helped that(?) but I tend to just buy what I enjoy eating the most 🤷‍♂️

In an effort to reduce eye strain from near constant screen time, I tacked print editions onto my subscription of The Economist last month

Getting the paper delivered weekly has significantly reduced the amount of time I spend in front of screens. My eyes feel much better! It’s also nice to get a weeks worth of news to digest, rather than exhausting rapid fire social media headlines every hour

I also got a physical library card, but I’ve not yet proved to have the attention span for books 😅

Installed Libby on my tablet and started reading The Goldfinch

Makes me wish I got a library card sooner, since that’s all you need to take out books on here. It goes through your local library network

The Goldfinch is incredibly captivating. I can’t put it down. @thelostdivine, my girlfriend of five years mentioned people talk about it on here, so I gave it a shot!

Revisited this this week

it's so eerie

I decided to do the week 2 photo prompt of Comptober by @the-sassy-composer! The instrumentation consists of contemporarily utilized strings and choir. I wanted to give the piece a haunting effect while having a sense of emotional pull on the listener. Most of all, I wanted to create a sense of uncertainty. Uncertainty was a point of emphasis because we don’t know what is in the cabin ahead of us.

If you are able, I recommend listening on high fidelity speakers or headphones for the full effect of the contemporarily utilized strings and choir.
