Came up with some twist-villain!Dedf1sh level music. We don't yet know what to make of Acht and Marina's shared history, so I'm envisioning some kind of self-imposed grudge tempered by her own morbid curiosity.

The reason Dedf1sh allowed herself to be ensnared by Tartar was because of Acht's desire to hone her music-making craft, right? If this process took place after Marina heard the Calamari Inkantation, then those two events could be linked.

If music can reformat the minds of a thousand soldiers and compel a dear friend to leave it all behind; to leave me behind... then what else can music do? How can I harness that power to my own ends? What if I could make the Inkantation my bitch?

Acht Mizuta may have perished down there in the Deepsea Metro, but her sense of purpose did not.

Finally got one of my GO pieces performed live uaaaaa!! So thankful to the classmates and professor, who made it possible, truly an amazing opportunity🥹

This piece was based on the S2E4 scene, where Aziraphale and Crowley were performing “The Bullet Catch” trick on the ~West End Stage~. You can read a ~fancier and proper (lol)~ story of the piece in the video’s description☺️

Winter

Huntlow Week Day 6 - "Opposites"

I haven´t seen anyone do orchestral music for Huntlow Week.

In this piece I try to explore the very different - and perhaps opposite - beginnings of Hunter and Willow, and their journey towards finding each other.

I have chosen the very fast scales and arpeggios to represent Willow, perhaps as the burning inner Willow that sets everything on fire, or perhaps as the suppressed emotions and years of bullying.

Hunter is represented by the very dissonant upper clusters and slow melodies. This could represent the clash between what the Golden Guard represents and who Hunter really is behind the mask. This also gets less dissonant as time goes on.

Eventually they come together in an uncertain duet. After working through some stuff they finally land in perfect harmony and a great finale.

This piece is currently unfinished, and i will certainly do some changes before putting it on youtube.

Setting of Kipling's "Dane-geld", about England's attempts to make the Vikings go away between 980 and 1016 AD.

Æthelred the Unready was not successful in this.

His epithet comes from the Old English word unræd meaning "poorly advised"; it is a pun on his name, which means "well advised".

Eventually, "we don't negotiate with terrorists" replaced it, but "paying the Dane-geld" was standard for a long time.

I’m having way too much fun composing this

This is the theme for Bluestar from the Warriors soundtrack I'm making. It's actually two themes in one, as Bluestar is both leader of Thunderclan (the first part), and her own person (the second). However, the second theme is more... I don't really know how to say it... Official? Important? Real? That's why it plays more often. I started improvising after about halfway.

Here's an alternative version in a major key.

so far i've only posted covers, but did you know that once upon a time, i wanted to compose my own music??

here's a song that i composed almost two years ago! it's meant to be a final boss theme of sorts 😅 it takes a lot of inspiration from touhou and europa's theme from granblue fantasy (which i was very into back then)

this is just a piano "draft" version made in musescore (which btw, i'm not good at finetuning the dynamics in, so it's not gonna sound very elegant). someday, i wanna make a complete version with full-blown instruments, but that's a very distant future...
