The beauty of tumblr is that some people here think that cigarettes get you high and drinking once a week makes you an alcoholic, while others here started smoking at 13 and wouldn't even consider ketamine a drug because everyone does it. And both of them are on tumblr blogging about TV shows from 2005.

I approve of powerscaling discourse only in utterly senseless contexts. I don't give a shit about which shōnen protagonists could beat up which other shōnen protagonists, but I will 100% read your five thousand word essay exploring the subtle nuances of establishing a tiered ranking of the Smurfs.

does anyone think the hipster vs fandom war is still going on somewhere. like those japanese soldiers who didn't know that ww2 ended so they just kept hiding in a bush somewhere for 20 years.

In case anyone has ever thought I'm uptight about manners, you should meet my co-workers.
Today one of my co-workers went into the bathroom after someone had gone #2 and it was stinky, and this person didn't use the spray. About three of my co-workers spent several minutes literally stomping their feet and shouting in anger about how rude and horrible it is to make a stinky #2 and not use the spray afterwards.
I can't imagine being so angry about a normal human bodily function. Like yeah I'll use the spray and if I walk into a bathroom and it smells I'll go "eugh" but then I get over it and carry on with my life. I can't imagine actually shouting and stomping my feet about it.
Which brings me to my point I wanted to make, which is that watching my co-workers shouting and stomping their feet for several minutes about such a small thing (forgetting to use spray after doing #2) brought forth an insecurity that, I really hope this blog doesn't encourage behaviors and attitudes like what I saw in my co-workers today. I don't want to make people more mean and judgemental, I don't want people to be mean and start policing people over small and generally insignificant things. I want people to be mindful and think of others, but that goes both ways. Both being mindful and thinking "hmm it's kinda smelly in here after doing my business, maybe I should use the spray" but also not shouting and stomping your feet in rage just because someone didn't. You're both humans, just think of each other.
