5 children a day,

8400 children in 7 years.

I stepped into the world of Speech 7 years ago, passionate to make a difference in the life of children and their families.

I entered this profession motivated to make a difference in this world, and to give back to the village that helped me to be where I am today.

Honestly?

I've spent just as much time contemplating on changing my profession as I spend in therapy sessions.

My love for children are often non-existent.

I wonder what else I could have done with these past 7 years.

But there is a reason that brings me back to this place.

There is a cord of 3 strands so thin, yet so strong, that tugs my heart in this direction.

A gentle and soft, yet firm and grounding voice that brings me peace in the midst of scatteredness and weariness.
