Archive of Pokemashouse? Like a good Archive with dates and and the pages in order
Tumblr media
I think there are several people who’ve gone about archiving it. I’m not sure if they’ve all included dates, but I don’t hate myself enough to be the one to do it. 😭
Maybe later, when I have more free time.

Honestly Lily’s takes about abuse in WLW spaces pisses me off as a lesbian, because she’s using statistics that are WARPED BEYOND BELIEF. The statistic is just lesbians who have been abused, not if they’ve been abused by OTHER LESBIANS. And she’s intentionally using the misleading statistic and normalizing it to her (thankfully declining) audience just to justify her hatred of a fucking sword yuri anime.
Imagine twisting statistics to fit your stupid narrative and support your biased viewpoints.

Here's a not so fun fact, Lily once compared Rebecca Sugar to Yandere Dev, an actual GR00M3R.
I’m not surprised, I’m not even disappointed, I’m just tired.

I have to wonder if Lily Orchard is contrarian on purpose, or if she’s just really dumb and sees all fiction as propaganda for something. Critics like her always call story beats they don’t like “dangerous”
She believes that abuse is common in yuri and lesbian circles because of Utena, an anime from like 20 years ago. She says that the ending of SU Future was a dangerous depiction of mental health for making struggling people look like monsters.
If someone watches SU Future, goes outside, and viciously beats a depressed person because of it, it’s not the author’s fault. It’s the person’s fault for doing that and their support system’s for not properly teaching them how to distinguish reality from fiction. This person was already prone to behavior like this. It reminds me of the removal of racial bonuses in D&D. Ironically, they’ve only given a louder voice to the small group of racist assholes who made real life comparisons by bending over backwards to stop them and removed a long-standing feature that could often result in more interesting role play. Should writers compromise their work to make sure a hypothetical group of crazy morons don’t take it the wrong way?
This is just the “violent video games cause violent behavior” argument in a new form.
I think it’s more that when Lily dislikes a show, she’ll find any argument to validate her opinion as fact. Even if a show she likes has the same pitfalls she’s criticized other shows for having, she’ll conveniently ignore it. (See: the DunMeshi bath scene vs. Universe bath scene)
The truth is, Lily doesn’t actually believe half the shit she says. She rails on Catradora for being “sisters,” but we all know how she really feels about “close” sibling relationships. She only tries to convince people Catradora are sisters to manipulate people into disliking the ship like she does. Same with calling people who like Hunter of all characters racist. She’s saying whatever in hopes something will stick and she can feel superior with her tastes.

Lily's idea of a healthy sibling relationship is basically that one episode of Friends where Rachel dates a guy who have a very innappropriate and weird relationship with his sister
(If you haven't watched that episode, is episode 10 from season 5 "The one with the innappropriate sister)
I’m going to take your word for it Anon, considering the last time I watched Friends was on one of these guys.

Lily grudge with lore will never not be funny to me, especially because she doesn't even realize what lore really is.
Lore is basically the context of the world where the story takes place in, like in Zootopia where the lore is that animals just evolved to be smart.
She thinks that lore is something that fans make up for the sake of it, even tho lore is important for most shows and movies out there.
But what really gets me is that she thinks children don't care about lore. Like, girl every gen Z kid were watching Mat Pat videos about Fnaf lore, i used to search Mlp fanfics just toe know more about the lore and i myself made tons of theories and fanfics about Mlp and Steven Universe because i was interested in the lore.
She says that she does that because she "cares about children" but the truth is that she underestimate kids and because of her own grudge with things that are actually interesting
Exactly.
Its like how some kids like history in school, while others like English — Lily is the type to think that her liking English means that English is the better subject and everyone who doesn’t like it is wrong and stupid actually.
It’s juvenile and arrogant.
There’s nothing wrong with preferring character-driven stories, but getting pissed whenever a show isn’t that is fucking stupid, and that’s what Lily does. And she justifies this by framing lore itself as boring and useless, not realizing that characters themselves can be, you know, intrinsically linked to their own culture and history and yes, lore.

So Lily has announced her intention to make Baldur's Gate 3 is Garbage and Here's Why (or a video to that effect) and has been playing the game on livestream to collect footage for the video. She has also made several posts on BlueSky that foreshadow her opinion on the game.
Tumblr media
The video is being made in the wake of criticism from Crispy's Tavern, a youtuber in the DnD community. With Lily's current reach, I doubt it will gain traction. Still, there will doubtlessly be discussion on Lily's takes when the video does come out.
Let's make this clear before then; None of Lily's criticisms of Baldur's Gate 3 hold merit, because Lily refuses to engage with the game's systems in good faith.
Let me provide you with an example of Lily's approach to playing Baldur's Gate 3. It's not a recent one (it comes from a livestream aired in September 2023) but it is highly indicative of Lily's play style as a whole.
Tumblr media
This is a pile of rubble in Grymforge, one of the latter sections of Act I. Destroying it grants access to the passage beyond. The player has the option of convincing some overworked herd animals to clear it away for them, or they can destroy it themselves with the appropriate weaponry. Since Lily has already slaughtered everything in this area, she opts for the latter.
The rubble has 45 hit points, resistance to piercing damage and most forms of elemental damage, and immunity to slashing damage. It also has the "sturdy" condition, meaning it will ignore any attack that deals fewer than 10 hit points to it. All of this information is freely given if you right-click on the rubble pile to examine it, and if you attack it with an ineffective weapon, it will even tell you if that weapon is ineffective.
Here is Lily's failed attempt at clearing the rubble.
video summary/description: Lily's OC attacks the rubble with scimitars, a slashing weapon. The pile takes no damage, and the text "immune to slashing damage" pops up. Lae'zel then attacks the rubble with a one-handed Warhammer - this attack could potentially damage the rubble if she rolls high enough for damage, but she doesn't.
Lily's henchman casts Magic Missile at 3rd level on the rubble - this sends out 5 missile that each deal between 2 and 5 force damage- since these missiles are counted separately, none of them damage the pile. Lily's OC then attacks the pile several times with a bow- no damage. Karlach follows suit with a crossbow - no damage. Karlach then attacks the rubble with a halberd* - a slashing weapon, so the pile is immune (and the "immune to slashing damage" text is displayed again). After 3 more halberd swings at the pile, Lily gives up and moves on from the undamaged rubble.
This is not a difficult section of the game by any means - this rubble can easily be cleared by an explosive barrel, or judicious usage of a Warlock's eldritch blast. Even without leaving this area or changing her party, Lily could have cleared the rubble by switching Lae'zel's Warhammer to two-handed mode and giving the pile enough hits.
Had Lily engaged with this obstacle with patience and a little curiosity, she would have recognized her current weapons were ineffective (with the exception of the aforementioned Warhammer) and been able to formulate an alternative strategy. Instead she frustrates herself with attacks that do nothing, ignores the game telling her those attacks do nothing, and leaves while complaining that D&D's rules are "ass-backwards." Baldur's Gate 3 is not a perfect game, and it certainly has issues - but withholding information from its players is not one of them.
This is how Lily approaches the entirety of Baldur's Gate 3. She is already determined to dislike the game, and as a result she refuses to engage with any of the game's systems in good faith. Because she doesn't engage with the systems in good faith, she doesn't know how to overcome simple challenges. Because Lily can't overcome simple challenges, she has a bad time, and because she has a bad time, she dislikes the game. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy, and Lily seems determined to make it everyone else's problem.
Why should we respect the opinions of someone who plays the game like this?
*Important note here - Karlach stunning herself has nothing to do with the rubble pile - the weapon she's wielding, Light of Creation, was looted from an automaton and will stun any non-automaton that wields it. Again, if Lily had taken the time to engage with the game and read the item's description, she'd realize that this weapon is… not an ideal choice for most characters.

I'm sorry, she faked having a child???
In the video she just talked about the PC she was using at the time and how it was this ancient thing and claimed the Lavender Town video took a week to render
She faked it in forums to generate possible clicks, not in the actual video itself.

Her first ever video actually was about Lavender Town?
That's incredible
It feels even weirder that she'd so casually bring it up then, like "Remember this video?" when she's otherwise trying so hard to scrub her past
She knows she can’t erase the entirety of RVI from existence, she just disavows that time and fudges the details when she can to make herself look better. (Like claiming she made most the series when she was homeless, when really she started the series in 2010 and didn’t move in with Ethan until late 2013, when the series had already been discontinued for her MLP videos.)
Compared to some of her other RVI videos, Lavender Town is probably one of the least controversial ones and the safest to still claim. (Unless, of course, you’re aware of how she faked having a child that had a seizure conveniently the same day said video dropped to possibly generate interest.)

In her latest video, Lily claims that her video on Lavender Town was the first one she made ever
I guess RVI was just a collective hallucination
Her first RVI video was on Lavender Town, she just revisited the topic later on in another video.

yeah I'm nominating Lily's insistence that media tastes and creative choices are fully reflective of real world inclinations, while simultaneously bending over backwards to scrub her connection to Stockholm and trial narrative set-ups for sisters to share a bed that surely only malicious freaks would object to.
This is also a valid contender.

what are the most blatant examples you can think of Lily telling on herself in regards to her media criticsm?
Ehhh, I can’t think of too many atm. (Besides her treatment of abused characters in shows who aren’t perfect, almost like she doesn’t want her fans to realize that victims can do bad stuff too.)
I guess… you know those people who complain about “revealing clothing” and it turns out it’s because they’re the horny bastard who can’t be normal? Yeah, that was Lily in regards to her insistence that the Korra writers have a torture fetish because of the mercury scene. Ain’t no way that outrageous claim would’ve happened unless Lily herself found that scene titillating somehow. (Kinda makes you rethink why she kept having Twilight Sparkle abuse Ascentia in her fics 🤔)
