Think we can see a glimpse into how Ody’s brain works in Mutiny when he’s trying to convince Eury not to kill the cow.

He starts off only talking about himself. (“I need to get home”) He’s only acting out of his self interest.

BUT when he sees that isn’t working, he expands his wording to include Eury and the rest of the remaining crew (“We can get home”).

And I think that’s very interesting.
